Guilds - General

well due to the fact my topic was closed the first time after one reply ill create this one.

As read on other threads Guild changes like Guild Vault, Guild Hall customization, variable permissions granting, viewable alliance rosters, higher guild cap...i agree with all of these. however my main question is that these ideas have been voiced over the past year and a half. Will they ever be heard? I always thought it was the decent thing to do was to reply...even if the answer was no or not possible...it was a curtiscy to reply back. It seems as if ANet/NCSoft are just plain out ignoring us. Basically...my question is will players ever get a reply to these (in my opinion) wonderful/wanted ideas? or will they continue to be ignored?

Mainly, guild cap and viewable alliance roster. Yes, our guild members are active. Rarely do we have a member appear on our roster as absent for more then a day or two. Our guild is very active. We cant even recruit any more. weve hit the table top with guild. Id personally like to see a higher guild cap for more expansion. lord, WoW has a 600 guild member cap i believe. It is very possible and if ur guild has 1 weekers and 1 monthers im sorry...but get better members

THe only current solution to the guild cap problem is a huge alliance with same tags...yadda yadda yadda. The problem with that is the main guild leader cant view all of these rosters unless he has accounts for each. And he can only do one at a time unless he gots mulitple computers. I mean come on we aint all Bill Gates here. Yeah its possible. I kno [LaZy] manages it. however it would also be much easier on players(GM's) to have either a higher guild cap or at least a ability to view alliance rosters, preferably both. After all, aint it supposed to be about the players?

It was explained in the past while individual proposals would/could not be implemented.

What has been done has been done. GW is over, long live GW2.

like that will help you completely... probably make a mod. want to give you a temporary ban or something...

as for your question...
ANet is not planning on adding anything new to GW1. They will continue events and such, but nothing else will happen. They want to work on GW2 on full-blast mode so they can get the community to stop complaining about boredom and give us something knew. Or atleast that is what I'm seeing through reading many posts about new content...

I think this is where you made your mistake. First thread being closed doesn't mean make a new one.

Yes. It isn't like Anet hasn't seen all the bitching, pissing, moaning, suggestions, blah blah blah that various players over various forums, fansites, hate/love emails have sent and painstakenly written. It's either not going to happen ever or it will happen eventually. Writing posts here on this site has no effect on this process. Other than to make other forum members lament over a precious few moments of their life wasted thinking this post was something else.

If this is how you ask your questions, then yes. You should ask your questions in an environment in which they will be answered by the people you want to answer them. Q&A on GWG isn't where Dev's are going to be trolling. Might try some personal pages on Wiki.

Solution: Make another guild, alliance with it. Problem solved. If you can't find someone trustworthy enough to run the other guild, find better members.

As a player, I'd rather they spend more time on things that matter, like bugs, skill balances, content and silly stuff like that. The inner workings of a guild can be worked around.

Size? Create another guild.
Can't trust someone to run the other guild for you? That isn't a size issue, it's a control issue.
Activity? Work for what your guild wants, not what you want.

This was originally what cracked me up and spurred my ire. You come across as this self-righteous poster, then when your thread gets deleted for whatever reason, you repost it and call whomever did it a douche. Five bucks said if someone actually posted an answer, you wouldn't even read it.

A-Net DOES look at the suggestions posted here. They don't do every little thing that people would like, but they do take many suggestions for their fan base and implement them. Be happy that they do what they do add - expanded storage pops immediately to mind - and quit whining about what they haven't done / won't do.

Insert attitude and lack of comprehension... Sometimes your burning hot topic is not worth more than a closure of the thread. If you ask a thoughtful and intelligently worded question/topic you will receive quality answers and opinions.

As far as your absolutely pressing issues...you again insult anet and the development team for something that few if any players care about. Work within the system and the system will work...
