I was on my way to a town last night. At about 12pm my time Gaile Grey poped up into the town, gunnars hold int district, whe descussed about a pet title track.
Anyone know some more info on it?

I got no clue lol. Iwoke up and she was talking about it. Llving pets to 20. That will take ALONG time and people wont realy use pet teams that well since the nerf of it. My thought is u cath all the pets in the game and u get a rank in the title.However, if were required to lvl them then why dont they boost the pets ability's like special pet only monster skills for them?

Would be pretty unfair towards other professions then Ranger since they have the most benefit from Pets. I really hope they come up with a more versatile title then a title that depends on one profession.

I'm not saying you're lying, I'm just saying as a community we have to be careful before putting words in somebody's mouth.

I asked about the weapons purpose and got a odd answer. Basicly its a big secret there trying to work on.
I already knew that part XD.

I wouldn't be suprised if they added more title tracks over the next 2 years. Seems that Title grinders are their new demographic, and having "new content" for their new demographic would be a good way to carry people onward to Guild Wars 2. I, on the other hand, would only be pissed if they added more titles.

I'd kill for stables. But we've been asking for them for 2 years already, so I'm not holding my breath.
I could definitely go for some PvE-only pet skills to make pets not suck (at least in PvE). Like say finally getting charm+pet rez in one skill.

They could make it if you maxed the title you get a pet of your choice upon maxing it so nobody would lose their favorite pet.

To those who think this is too much of a grind, look on the bright side, at least you don't have to take the pet through all 3 campaigns right? and you have until GW2 comes out to do it. Once again we at Arenanet do not support grinding what so ever

Also I liked all those “half-assed skill balances”
when people begging to use a Build repeteadly without thinking of new ones then Nerf the Skills they use. It’s a way to keep the game fresh and you Meta people on your toes...
If Anet creates Pet Title I'll be happy, another thing to achieve...

It amazes me the number of people in this thread who are quick to attribute to Gaile and/or ANet something that Viper said... and said not very legibly... and said he can't substantiate.
FYI, this isn't about 'sticking up' for Gaile and ANet. It's about sticking up for rational thinking.

the complications involved with the title itself would make this waaaay too much trouble to implement. They have all but said that they won't be spending a lot of time on GW1 stuff right now and instead will focus on GW2. I know I'm not going to give up my black moa. I like him. This title would pretty much force you to drop pets with no means of retrieval unless they added the stable and once more we come back to the whole they won't be spending a lot of time on GW1 stuff right now. In fact I think I would actually be more upset if they took man hours away from GW2 to focus on something like a stable or some other bit of pointless fluff that in no way enhances gameplay.
