Only drops from chests, so you'd have to do a chest run, if possible.

Yes you get them from chest doing the raptor nestling farm. So yes in a way you can farm them. Its roughly 1 outa every 20 or so chests is the average for me.

Where does this chest spawn during the raptor run? I ran it hundreds of times during the special weekend and do not ever remember seeing a chest.

It'll spawn occasionally behind the furthest rock where most of the raptors are.

Yep this is a good place for them. Did about a dozen Raptor runs last night opened 6 chests and got 3 x Saurian Scythes 1 x r9 1 x r10 and a r13

There is no fixed chest that spawn in the area but maybe about 30% of the time there is one close to the Raptor Nestling cave. Go in from the east entrance to the cave and kill the Nestlings and then proceed to the southern exit of the cave, I have seen chests spawns as close as inside the cave, and often if you exit from the south and run towards the open area where 3 groups of Raptors and one group of (4x) Angorodons are you'll see one there. Becareful if a chest spawn in the open area, 90% of the time it's within the range of the Angorodon group and they can kill you in seconds, I usually bring 3 heroes with me for the run, flag them away when I kill the Nestlings and use them to distract the Angorodons if there is a chest there. The spot where the final boss for the quest "Genius Operated Living Enchanted Manifestation" seems to always spawn a chest, it is a bit of a run but an easy one, the 5 or so times I made it there the chest always spawned.

You can get them in the end chest of Arachni's Haunt NM.
Memphis Rain
Arachni's Haunt would take about 45 mins to an hour to finish and you get ONE chance at end chest in NM, whereas in Riven Earth you kill about 24 Nestlings in HM that can drop perfect Elemental Swords and do a little chest run altogether under 3 mins, it's a no brainer there.
