Another AB weekend, why force pvp on a pve title track

I may be wrong here, but don't they allow for more matches in AB at a time during Double AB weekends.

I'm sure they would, but again, I may be mistaken.

I love how things have gone off topic to quickly, the point is why the weekend with bonuses toward the Kurzick/Luxon title track is favor toawrds AB weekends, which will occur 3 times in the past 6 months, on june 8, sept 25, and now this up coming weekend, instead of:
"Double Luxon/Kurzick Title Points -- 26 June 2007
This weekend, get double points towards your Luxon and Kurzick alliance titles starting at Noon Pacific (-7 GMT) on Friday, June 29. Receive double points for transferring 1,000 faction for Jadeite or Amber, for exchanging 3,000 faction for an alliance skill, and for transferring 5,000 faction to raise your alliance's reputation. The bonus ends at 11:59 PM Pacific on Sunday, July 1."
Which only have occured once in the history of weekend events.
I think it rediculous that faction farming is only be promoted in pvp only when the title has PvE benofit.
I just want Balance.

BMP will be out then, and they needed something to satisfy the people who couldn't get it, but lets not drag this topic down that path way.

Yes, it would be cool if they extended the double faction to the Kurz/Luxon blessings at the shrines. That way PVE only players can get a boost in their PVE only skills (doh that makes too much sense)

Seems like 90% of the bonus weekends are for PVP one way or the other anyway which is unfair to say the least. They should just pull the plug on the bonuses and fire the extremely bias PVE hating weekend planer.

If you have an organized 4-man team and you know the tricks to win matches consistently in the other side's turf, this is very much NOT the case. The buff to wins deep in enemy territory means that such wins yield 5000 faction wins every 15 minutes or so with no wait to play.

If you're not running an organized group with good players, I agree with you. The waiting time to play kills your rate of faction gain if you have to rely on winning at Saltspray/own territory.

They alternate them (PvP one weekend, PvE the next). The PvE ones generally just fail, though, so it feels like 90% of them go to PvP.

I love the people complaining because their fff isn't being doubled.

It's something that shouldn't be in the game at all, let alone have a double weekend.

Allegiance is a PvP title. The mistake was when Anet added PvE-only rewards to it.

Nonetheless, since "Save Yourselves!" is not going to magically become a Sunspear skill overnight, double blessend weekend plzkthx

AB are fun , but its the time you wait to get in there will be very anoyying.it would be better if AB would just start automaticly

It is PvX, but Anet thinks it a pvp title seeing how the event are being lined up, except for the brainfart of pve only skills.
Why shouldn't the fff get bonuses, I mean it the only method of getting max rank in a decent amount of time, which 500 hours really isn't a decent amount of time.

weekend event = noone will notice the BMP isnt out yet... oh wait, everyone is noticing still...

FFF is an exploit and Anet shouldnt encourage it.
on the other hand FA, jade Quary and the other pve coop mission should also get double factions

Yup, remove FFF but double legitimate PvE means of Faction gain and we'd be getting somewhere.

GOD FORBID they finally give something to PvP.

But yeah AB sucks. I wish they'd promote good PvP, like Hero Battles.

The reason they do the weekends is to encourage people to try other stuff so dont complain about it go and do sum ab if u want the weekend to be a benefit to you. If not then stop complaining about them and go do wht u always do.

AB is to PvP like go-kart racing is to the Indianapolis 500. It falls under the same category as RA, a bunch of disorganized people with bad builds beating on each other while some griefer laughs at some moron's attempts to kill his "invinci" character. I don't know why they promote it at all.
