Not sure if this goes here, but...

Recently I've noticed that my post count is well... Broken. Earlier, I checked my count and it said 495. Around 8 posts later it said 498. Of course, I was confused. 3 posts later, it still said 498. I tried one more post: 498.

This was in the Off-Topic forum, and other forums I've been to didn't add posts in the OT forum to post count. But it did here. I don't think it could be any sort of prevention of post count, as I've not heard of that on this site. Nor have I been spamming to deserve something of the such.

My question is: can someone help me and explain to me why my post count is not updating?


EDIT: Just made this topic and checked my count; it said 499.


EDIT: It seems that my counter was just a little fubared for a bit. Just posted one more time and got 500. Seeing as my problem is now solved, this thread can be closed.

You pay too much attention to your post count I'd say.

Does it really matter how many posts you've made? Were here to get our questions about the game asked and answer other peoples, not make as many posts as possible.

Seriously...post count can be rather misleading. There are more than a few idiots running around here with Desert Nomad or beyond. Also, the trade forums are particularly culpable because people prefer to repost instead of editing bids. Someone might make a dozen meaningless posts in the span of a few hours for that purpose.

sometimes posts get deleted.....or threads get deleted and then your post count goes back down I believe. Have you posted to any threads that have been deleted?

Since it's partially related, is there a list of the titles? I'd like to see them all ^_^ Especially since I doubt I'll get enough posts to achieve them.
