im trying to convert my war to a VWK farmer but i dont have the elite or any money and havnt reached that place in factions yet.

so im giving farming a elite tome a try.

Does anyone know any good spots+builds in NF/Factions?

prob the best spot will be alem, you find him if you go to the monolith temple

There is no difference between farming one Rt boss in HM compared to another for tomes, all of them have the same chance of dropping Elite tomes, with that said it'd be best to do the most repeatable farm in the shortest of time, for that reason I'd recommand Tomton Spiriteater using the Ele/Assassin build if you got an ele (http://www.pvxwiki.com/wiki/Build:E/A_Solo_Green_Farmer), each run is less than 2 mins if done correctly plus you'd go without any hero/henchmen, so all drops will be yours.

I, too, should definitely recommend an easily reachable boss like [wiki]Tomton Spiriteater[/wiki], [wiki]Flower Spiritgarden[/wiki], [wiki]Ritualist's Construct[/wiki], [wiki]Lieutenant Kayin[/wiki] or [wiki]Chkkr Brightclaw[/wiki] which you may take on solo (just search for their names on Pvxwiki to obtain a viable farm build).

As to Alem, he may cost you too much time. Myself, I killed him far more than a hundred times with H&H while promoting my 10 PvE chars to LB 6/7, and he only once dropped his green, never ever dropped a tome.

i do tomton with my monk.

Mo/E sliver build. can kill the ranger, rit and monk in that area.

or try the SS build and kill all the yetis to.

Imo ritualist's construct. In an hour it's possible to kill more than 50 of them. Got his green once and elite tome twice... But I think that A.Net nerfed drop rates, as tomes are not dropping as often as they used to drop.

I'd farm Tomton Spiriteater. Exit from Aspenwood Gate (Luxon) and run to him. You should be able to pass all mobs, then when you reach him, aggro the other Yeti mob and then hit him with a standard A/E or E/A Sliver Farm. Throw in [card]Obsidian Flame[/card] for Shock.

I seem to get a lot of normal ritualist tomes while farming Destroyer Cores in HM with my Ele.

farmed tomtom for about an hour or 3...and there i was 80 runs later 3 golds 4 greens 0 elite tomes, but i had enuf money by then from the merch foods to buy one off a player..thanks evrybody

Well, to be honest, go farm some other stuff, sell it, and buy the tome. I've E/A farmed Tomton spirit eater probably 300+ times and still no tome.

I farm mine from Oreson, outside of Senji's Corner with Mo/E

Fairly easy. get tricky sometimes, but many mobs to help with Sliver Armor

Ssyn coiled grasp, the run is a little hard as the mob tends to follow for ages but he drops quickly, and has a nice green to boot.
