Yes, a price check on my PC. I'll be selling my current machine quite soon, because I'm getting a new one

Even though I know quite a lot of PCs, it's hard for me to estimate what my current machine would be worth these days.

So here's my current setup:

( It's about 2 years old )

Mobo: Abit Guru GA-K8NSNXP

nVidia nForce3 250 Ultra400/MCP-T Chipset
FSB 400/333/266
3 DIMM Dual DDR Memory Channels
AGP X8
2-ch SATA 150 RAId

Processor
AMD Athlon 64 3000+

Videocard
XFX GeForce 6600 GT
256 MB DDR 3
400 MHz Ramdac
1200 MHz Memory

Memory
2x 512 MB 400 MHz
1x 1024 MB 400 Mhz
Total of 2 GB

Other stuff

- PCI Slot cooler
- Decent case
- 450W Sweex Gold PSU
- Some crappy 40 euro 6 channel soundcard

------------------------------------

Now, I feel like keeping my 2 HDDs because it's got so many stuff on it I don't want to lose, but I might just leave 1.

I have one 40 GB one, and one 250 GB one on the SATA. I guess I could sell the 40 GB one with it, because selling a PC without a HDD is...well...odd.

Anyways, let me know what you think

I wouldn't pay more than $200 USD for that, although you may be able to sell it for $300+, depending on the buyer and his needs. A new, faster system (with DDR2, PCI-E, current socket) can be put together for $400-500, so yours isn't worth nearly that much.

Personally, I'd keep it and put it to use as a small fileserver!

It is worth about $200.00 on the used computer market. w/o OS. If you have the OS CD, add fifty dollars.

Oh, that is with the 250g HD. With the 40g HD make it about 175.
