I've actually gone 1st person in many battles, putting my life in the hands of my heroes, just so I could look the enemy in the eye.

And I had lots of nasty surprises. Like, Ghostly Hero is 2 times my size, putting my head at eye level with his crotch >.<

Many enemies look really nice up-front, tho. Or creepy. Ever stared at a Wind Rider ? Or a Vaettir?

Coolest would have to be Oozes.
I hate Spiders the most, but they look good.

I always liked the Iboga on Istan. Somebody had the original dial turned up when they drew that one. And yet it still feels very fantasy.

And from the very first time I saw the Charr I was thinking, 'can I switch sides? those guys look like more fun to play.' For cat / rat / something people, they're a lot more interesting than the usual catgirl / lionman / puma lord of the jungle motif.

I'd like to add desert wurms to the list. Well, all wurms actually, except junundu. So annoying how they pop up and strike for 200+ damage. And they are downright ugly. lol
