Cool: the Azure Shadow/Nightmare/Frigid (ku)skale body type/movement type. Sinuous, sinister, very good look for a badguy. The Charr Shaman/Flamecaller - arrogant, smug looking, haughty, another good "villain" look.
Ugly: The Afflicted, Giants, Jotuns, the other Skales, Ibogas.
Lots more of all sorts, but I don't feel like sorting them all out. Except one thing: Fellblades. WTF is with that size? Compensating much?

Ugly: Devourers, mainly for the pathological hatred of them inspired by post-searing Ascalon. Prodigious breeders, those things are. Jade Armor/Bows, mainly because they give me that "itchy-teeth" feeling that some people get from nails on chalk boards or biting on aluminium foil. I don't know what it is about those things, they're just... ew.
Wierd: Gray Giants. First you kill the body, then you kill the head. One critter that becomes two, gross. Avicara. What's up with all the Tengu, for that matter? They're poorly adapted for groundwalkers, yet they don't fly. Why don't they fly? I'd figure that having your own airforce would have given them a decided advantage in their war against the Canthans. And if they can't fly, why not?
Cute: Pre-Searing rabbit. Pre-Searing Gwen, for the simple fact that, while she can be a bit of a pest, she's an innocent, hopeful about the world, and the ideal representative icon for that time, as those of us who began it all there those years ago had some of the same qualities. It's kind of sad, to me at least, that some Factions and Nightfall players never got to experience (in the same way) what our Tyrian characters did.
Cool: Krait Neoss, for the metamorph ability to become whatever the mob needs them to. That's freaking cool (except when they all turn into Arcanoss... then it sucks.) Kuunavang, good boss, necessary ally, wickedly awesome mini. I like dragons, what can I say? NPCs one-liners in Explorables is one cool touch; it adds a sense of liveliness that was missing at the very beginning, when Stefan, Alesia, Orion, Reyna, Little Thom, Lina, and the rest were just warm bodies to fill party slots. (I know they still are, but at least they've got personalities now.)

Chromatic Drakes because they constantly change their skill sets, thus making them annoying to kill (and it gets worse when they go Earth). Ceratadons because they use Sliver Armor, Grasping Earth, and Shockwave combo to rape your entire party.
Evilest: The Destroyer, they are the hardest level 28s I've faced.
The race that should feel partially sorry for: The Charr, for being misguided by the false gods (Titans and Destroyers), but they should get spanked for screwing Ascalon. Other than that, I might expect some missionary to come to Charrlands and convert them to follow the gods of Tyria, but that idea might be dropped by ANet feeling it may cause some controversy.
