Trader Refuses to buy that item!

Im trying to sell a Minor rune of Vigor to a Rune Trader and when i try to sell it i get this message saying Trader Refuses to buy that item.. .Its happened 3 days in a row now..is soemthing wrong or wat?

I think you got that Minor Vigor Rune from the quest in NF. The trader doesnt buy that from you.

Haha, and all this time I thought the trader was refusing to buy ALL minor vigor runes. Was wondering how the price still hovered around 1k :P

If you have runes left over from back before their appearance was changed, the trader won't buy those either. That happened to me once.

Yeah, I noticed that when I saw my friend log into his account after a long break. He was trying to sell the runes to the trader and he wouldn't buy them (it was a blue named major dom rune).

Same with the older major runes, when their HP stats were changed.

But the regular merchant should be able to give u some gold for them,
at least they did that when the HP penalty was changed.

Really annoying when that happened, had just bought all the sup runes for 6 characters.

I had that minor vigor for ages too because i didnt know what to do with it as i already had lots of vigor on characters so i gave it away free to the first character under lvl 10 to trade with me

Now that i think of it, because it's an easy quest to complete i recon they made it like that to stop people repeatedly remaking characters to "farm" that quest for the rune for gold.

I have a similar situation. I'm trying to sell a Major Rune of Swordsmanship (I think that's the att) but Sheel refuses to buy it. I have never played any of the games other than Prophecies, so it cannot be that I received it in a quest from another game. I believe I most likely purchased it from her some time ago.

Old major runes with Health -50 are obsolete and cannot be sold to traders. They were replaced by major runes with Health -35.
You might be able to find a player who wants to collect old items like those.

Sell the Minor Vigor in game (use trade chat).
You can check the price by getting 'quote' from Rune Trader - and sell for a bit less.
