GW launcher crashes after update?

Hi,

Since last week, it seems that every time there's an update, my GW launcher crashes under Vista (with a crash report form to send info to Anet). Anyone experienced this already? I don't think I have this problem in XP.

Post-edit: Xp gives me totally frozen screen (sound still working and apparently I'm still playing) then BSOD!

You might want to try deleting your Gw.dat and running the launcher then.

I tried copying the gw.dat from a save I had, it worked last time but not this time!

Solution found: use the client installer from the GW website (http://eu.guildwars.com/support/cate...nload_client/). I guess the launcher was corrupted or some file associated to it in the system folders.
