Guild Wars music on Sci-Fi?

I happened to be looking on scifi.com and this video was playing on the main video page. I wasn't paying much attention to it, but then I happened to hear some Guild Wars music on a computer that I knew had no trace of the game. So I paused the movie and sure enough, the sci-fi web exclusive was using some Jeremy Soule. The music starts a few seconds in and goes on for about two minutes or so.

I didn't bother to watch it after the non-GW music started so I'm not sure if they used any more of it.

Appologies to anyone who would have my head if this is the wrong board.

Very interesting, but a lot of games steal sound tracks from other places, even other games, like Oblivion from Knights of the Old Republic.

I've never heard of Oblivian, I'm assuming your referring to Oblivion?

Jeremy Soule composed the music for both KoTOR and Oblivion, as well as Guild Wars and the Sci-Fi special in the link. That is the reason you'll hear similarities; they were composed by the same person, not copied/stolen.

He may have composed the music for the film, but the music is a direct copy, not a similiarity

I saw this when it was on TV and took a look because someone had made a topic about it not too long ago. I think I heard some battle music and that "Tome of Rubicon" Dwarf theme that was on Jeremy Soule's MySpace but I don't remember ever hearing in Eye of the North. At least it's getting some use.
