I've spent the last two days testing this build and it works great! The skills used are basically the same as the old solo echo trapper build but without the spirits due to the recent nerf.
Skills:
1) Serpents quickness
2) Arcane echo
3) Echo
4) Dust trap
5) Barbed trap
6) Ether signet
7) Whirling defense
8) Storm chaser (optional)
Attributes:
16 in wilderness survival, 15 in expertise and 3 in inspiration. I swap my superior runed armor pieces for minor prior to pulling. Health is at 380 whilst trapping and 560 pulling.
Equipment:
I use a staff with +15 energy and enchants last 20% longer, it's the same one i've always used for ages and works well for me with this build.
Usage:
The numbers i use relate to the skills posted above.
Start with serpents quickness followed by arcane echo, echo and dust trap. Copy of echo (2) copy of dust trap (3) dust trap (2). 3 dust traps laid and out of energy! (6) Ether signet.
It's now possible to lay three more dust traps after the enegy gain from Ether signet, (4), (3), (2). You should have just enough energy to lay barbed trap (5) and refresh serpents quickness.
At this point energy should be quite low but ether signet is also almost recharged. To be on the safe side i swap weapon to bow to ensure zero energy before using ether signet again then quickly swap back to your staff.
Follow up with Echo, dust trap, copy of dust trap and barbed trap. There's a slight wait here for the final dust trap needed to give you a total of 9. The window left for pulling is around 17 seconds. It's possible to lay another dust trap if you want and then hit ether signet, i find 9 dust is plenty

Storm chaser is the wild card here but i find it better than a self heal at times to shake aggro if things don't go right.
Main credit obviously goes to the original echo dust trap build, just happy to be using something along those lines again!
