Stacking Mods and Inscriptions
Apache.Scythe
Well i think some people would agree with me on this.
im sure there are alot of players who have several of the same mod or inscription.
So i think having identical Mods and Inscriptions stack would benefit the players by make inventory's or player vault alot more organized.
Here is a example of what i mean:
eg1. By placing a "Strength and honor" 15^50 Inscription over another "Strength and honor" 15^50 - they will successfully stack
eg2. By placing a "Strength and honor" 15^50 Inscription over another "Strength and honor" 14^50 Inscription -they will NOT successfully stack
eg3. By placing a "Strength and honor" 14^50 Inscription over another "Strength and honor" 14^50 Inscription -they will successfully stack
Same theory goes for weapon mods

Mods and Inscrips take up a lot of my space too, good idea.

/signed, as long as it doesn't take too much to code something like this. I've got so many copies of different inscriptions eating up all my storage on my secondary account it's not even funny.
RPGmaniac
/signed because my storage is full of duplicates of inscriptions/weapon upgrades.
I can't help but wonder though if there is a reason Anet hasn't done this already beyond them not wanting to or not thinking of it.

Will defenitly save some space and partially satisfy some of those crying for more storage space.

This will save up about 10 slots just from Measure for Measure inscrips alone.
tipiak
Same here, have to use 2 slots to store all insignias, runes, mods ...

It's just like runes.
Allow stacking, and people will hoard them to use them as coins.
Add a trader, like with runes. That's way better.

Perhaps we could also all have our own bookshelf in storage too for all the journals and books we have been getting lately.

This and other suggestions as to the stackability of other items should be implemented. No sane reason not to, the storage space taken up by these items is horribly big.

It would work better. And people would start hording, then everone would bitch when it messed with the prices "oh god the economy!!! we're all gonna die!" or something similar.

If two items are identical, why shouldn't they be stackable ?

Their value isn't well known enough for this to be effective without a trader to let everyone know the price. So I don't see them replacing ecto.
I've given my support for a trader in every thread that asks for one.
