Does a death in BMP missions count towards /deaths?
Alexandra-Sweet
Simple question, I have a survivor but I want to do some missions from the BMP, but if I die during one of the missions will it count towards /deaths?
Smile Like Umean It
Don't really see why it wouldn't.
Why don't you take another character through first and check?

People from the BMP thread said they tested it and it didn't count.
pkodyssey
I wouldn't risk it until you tried it for yourself on another toon.
Officer Dick
i tested it, still the same number of deaths after lots of dying in the BMP, although since when u get the discoverys u can get and use the books with any char, i would get them with another cahr and then get the discovery books for ur survivor, just in case, if the books are what ure after...
GD Defender
It does not, which makes sense as you're not even playing as your character.
Mordakai
You can't get XP from these, can you?
GD Defender
Correct, they only offer cash and weapons.

Well that's dumb.

EDIT: Actually, your character is technically in a costume. So that makes sense too.

One thing that's interesting though...
I'm pretty sure your armor level is taken into account in these missions.
Gwen got hit for a 400 damage siege attack. I routinely use antler headgear.
I've noticed this in other 'special missions' like that one.

One of my guildies did it in starter armor and he made a comment about taking 300 damage, so I'm pretty sure you're right.
