A nerfed item

now i didn't know where to post this, so i thought that i'd post it here. If it needs to go elsewhere then just move it or something.

Now i read one of the game updates that anet applied very recently, and one of the things they changed was the mods on a collectors chalice. It used to be Enchantments last 10% longer, on an off-hand! I was just wondering if anyone had one at all? And would they be willing to sell/trade it with me?

the stats are now changed (lol anerf) so they are useless again.

some nerfed items don't loose their stats though, they just don't appear anymore. But that's not the case with this one?

look in miscellaneous...that item will no longer exist.

The update nerfed the ones that still had the enchant bonus.

Yeah, there used to be some still around after it had been previously changed. This update changed the ones still in existance.

lol i'm guessing after an employee was browsing the high end they nerfed the last know one with those stats.

lol oh man, that would have been so much use to me...

wonder why they left alone -2/-2 shields after all this time

The collector that offered them was apparently removed from the game some time ago. This update changed the currently existing offhands so that they no longer had the 10% enchanting mod.

Therefore, no, not only are they no longer acquirable, they no longer exist.

The item must've been around for many ages, but was nerfed shortly after it was put up for sale.

Because those don't defy any set game mechanics. The absorption nerf (physical only) made those kind of shields mostly useless anyway.

meh, anerf should have compensated that guy for his 20-30 armbrace b/o

Edit: come to think of it, if that seller hadn't flushed it out in guru high end, I don't think anet would have noticed (you know - they dish out so many items they must have lost count what is what). Motto is - if you got good stuff, don't mention it in guru lol Previous example was armbrace dupping, now this.

Well the dude who sold it is in ZoS which is a guild with Devs in it. So I think a dev told him to sell it as it was soon to be nerfed, not they nerfed it b/c one was sold.
