A nerfed item

I wonder if Anet holds a monthly competition to see which employee can come up with the most ridiculous/annoying nerfs. Probably $1 raise everytime you win! Though a $5 raise to the guy who said, "I have it! Lets make a small nerf on EW one just to make people laugh, but wait here's the kicker... a week later lets nerf it so hard and so ruthlessly, that we actually drive players away from their ranger characters!"

EW is now the bastard child of all ranger skills, hell even archer's signet or wth ever its called has better application in a trap build, though I can't think of what that application might be. I'm just sure that whatever it is its better than EW.

Anyway, on topic. Anybody remember Gorel's Staff or whatever it was that gave 20% recharge to all spells back when the cap used to be 10%. They nerfed it and then a few months later changed all staffs to 20%.

I would be more concerened about what someone does with the information rather than how they acquired it.

Very very suspicious that someone in ZOS which has devs in it put the item up for sale in high a few days prior to the nerf.

you guys are wrong. He was left holding the now worthless item. No warning prenerf. Trust me it wasnt insider information. Or anything like that. He put it up for sale, someone saw it. it was nerfed. end of story.

of course he would Never tell his guildies about how awesome it was being able to keep shadow form so easily.

we all knew about the icon. It Did infact make shadowform last longer....beside the point.

I'm guessing you have nothing better to do than sit here on guru and cry about an online item in an online game full of other online items which do not exist. If you think that ZoS was the only group of people aware of the item then you are sadly mistaken. It'd be pretty damn stupid for him to get some insider info on an item like that and then not actually sell it. GG, try looking at some of his previous sell threads maybe?

probably because all the items they have retroactively nerfed have been collectors/green items. They probably only need to change the data once and it will propgate throughout the system. It is probably not as easy a task with gold items which is most likely why unconditional weapons still remain in the game as well.
