Multiple BMP weapons

Okay so the system as told by GW Guru is that after initial completion you can earn up to 3 more authorized copies of each story per mission. Is there anyway to reset this, say you authorized a Saul story on your ranger, but want your warrior to have the mursaat weapon. So you don't wanna waste that book on your ranger by earning one on your warrior, so what happens if you delete an authorized book, does it reset the authorization limit?
I think the systems flawed a bit in my opinion. Why couldn't they have just had a 0/4 limit on your account for each historian's weapons, then when ever you delete one it opens up a spot again?

As far as I know, you can repeat the missions an infinite amount of times.
I sent Gaile a PM about this, and I'm waiting for a reply for a confirmation.

You can earn as many authorized copies as you want for a character.
The first time you complete one of the three additional discoveries in one of the missions, Durmond will give any character on your account an authorized copy for that mission.

What are you talking about? You can do the BMP for weapons an infinite number of times.

Like it matters if you can transfer books to other characters. Just load up on the other character and play the BMP with that one. They only need to be in LA, Kaineng or Kamadan, so pretty early in the game.

Completing each mission also unlocks “Discovery Mode” for that mission, adding three hidden, bonus goals for you to discover. For each bonus goal you complete, Durmand will give any one character on your account an additional authorized story. The additional stories can only be earned once for each account. - Wiki
So maybe I'm just misreading? But the way it sounds is that theres a 4 weapon limit per historian on your account.

You can only get the additional ones 3 times, each time you finish a discovery.
However EVERY time you finish a mission you can autherize a book. I know, i've done it.

Are the discovery weapons different skins?
I assume so.

No, you get the same books as the regular mission books.

Clarify:
Each time you complete a mission on your selected character, you will get a completed book (which can be authorized) for that character and allows them to get a weapon of choice depending on the mission they completed.
Even if a player completed a mission previously, they can replay the mission an infinite number of times and receive an infinite number of authorized books.
Completing bonus objectives (each mission has 3) will give you the option to get a book for another character (WITHOUT that character having to complete a mission)
An example of this being useful: After completing a mission with Character A, that same character replays the mission and gains a bonus objective. By completing this they receive the usual Book to be authorized AS WELL AS the option to create an authorized book for any character. So by doing this, you gain 1 Authorized book for completing on Character A, and the option to quickly create a book for Character B without Character B having to complete a single mission.
The bonus objectives can be done once per account, so once you complete all 12 you will no longer be able to get, what I would call, "quick access weapons" (books that are just gained by using the historian/discovery feature).
Once all 12 bonus' are complete, the only way to get weapons for specific characters are to complete the mission on the character you need the item for.

^^Ok, thx all. I'll just do the missions again, they're that much fun lol

I'm kind of happier with it the way it is; otherwise to get matching main/offhand items you'd need to do the mission with different characters.
