Empire Of Corrupted Souls

Hi all.

I was playing Gwen's Story when I got to the dungeon part the music and scenery in one part reminded me totally of American McGee's Alice.

I havn't played that game in years but for some reason with the giant mushrooms and the music that's the first thing I thought of.

Has anyone else played that game?
Or is it just the giant mushrooms making me think of alice in wonderland.

I don't know, there was no purple cats. >_>
But the Togo story reminded me of the first Kill Bill movie with the introduction to the enemy leader's officers.

I can see the giant mushrooms giving it that feel. It wasn't too off-the-wall for me that I was reminded of that game, but there's a slight resemblance.

I think that was the point. The same thing with Turai's story resembling 300.

It was funny as hell though.

I wonder if Saul's and Gwen's stories were supposed to be homages too? Guess we need to put on our thinking caps.

I felt the exact same feeling as the OP:
Gwen's mission reminded me a lot of american mc gee's alice.

That's cool IMO, because I really liked the art style of this game.
