Account theft guild

Hi, I have been inactive for over 6 months on GW, was always very carefull and that all stuff but got hacked, lost a fow, high en weapons, gold, armors, etc. Today was the day I found out I was hacked, but the weird starts here: when i log all my chars had no armor, and I thought it must be the loading since I just installed gw. Then I go on a char and I see that im on a guild I dont know. I checked the guild roster and surprise! there are a LOT of accounts that have been innactive for months (and I think all of them were hacked), except the leader and only the leader that showed he was online a day ago. I was kinda shocked and In a newb way I forgot to take a screenshot of the roster and left the guild. Then I checked my friend list and told them what happened to me (they remembered me since I kept contact tru msn) they invited me to their guild and said they saw me online like a month ago. Then I was off to check what was left on my characters and luckily the hacker left several of my characters on his guild hall, so before it kicked me out I took the screenshot of the name of the guild that is attached to this message.

I´m posting this because if you know ppl that have not been active like me they could have been hacked and could be on that guild, also this was reported already to Anet for further investigation, so I just hope they catch and punish the culprit and give the other hacked accounts on that guild to their rightfull owners

one of the best things that you could do is contact anet's support and have them look into this matter for you.

your account security has been breached, I would go for a password change as well.

as I stated this was already reported to Anet tru plaync, about the password luckily they couldnt change it because I had it binded with the plaync account with a different mail and password of course.

About the items I lost, well too bad for me, but it didnt hurt that much since I have been away a long time from gw, but my friends are still here and are willing to help me

Being inactive has nothing to do with it other then you didn't notice it til it was too late. Change your password, contact support.
