Help! Guild Leader promoted by mistake.

Okay, here's what happened:

Our Guild Leader wanted to step down so he promoted someone else. The new leader was then going to demote a few inactive officers, but made a mistake and promoted one of them to Guild Leader.

Any ideas on how to fix this? The person hasn't played for a couple weeks and the person who made this mistake is feeling horrible.

I remember something from distant memory that Guild Leaders are automatically demoted after 30 days inactivity, but can't find anything that validates that.

Any ideas? I doubt that Anet would fix this.

You'll have to wait for them to log on, or wait for them to have been away for two months.
