Im still not sure how this game works. Because I'm almost lvl 20 and I've only covered like 1/4 of the world. And since you can only get to lvl 20, how do you know what to fight and what not to fight? or is everything get to lvl 20 so you can just go every were...

How long does the campaign go for?

What kind of things can i do? Because its been kinda the same.

When is a good time to join a guild? And how do i know its a good guild?

Are there any party type monsters? Or bosses. Ones you would have to fight with a guild or a huge amount of people?

Thats all ive got right now...
But if there are any other tips you can give me please do.

The game really opens up at level 20. It doesn't end at max level.

This is a combat-centric game. Crafting is very simplistic, and basically you only need to focus on your primary and secondary skills - there are no crafting skills.

Things like armor w/ max rating or weapons that do max damage are relatively easy to come by.

Which campaign are you playing? Prophecies is the longest campaign, but also progresses the slowest. Nightfall is in the middle in length, and Factions is the shortest.

You have to be careful about joining a guild. Never join one that will instantly make you an officer - that means that they just want bodies. Join a guild that has people that play around the same times you do, and whose members like teaming together - why join a guild that doesn't want to have anything to do w/ you?

There are enemies that you need a party to defeat, but bear in mind that for most of the game that party can consist of AI-controlled heroes or henchmen. There are things like alliance battles that are your guild vs another guild, or your team vs another team, so that's an option.

Prior to level 20 is really the tutorial area of the game. The game's combat becomes a LOT more complex later on in the game.

In most campains there are about 20 missions. Best time to join a guild would be right at the beginning, you can always leave, and you could get help from guildies. When you get further into the game you can do alliance battles (ab) guild vs guild (gvg) player vs player (pvp) and more things to.

These are typically called "elite missions". Depending on which campaign you own, you get certain ones. All campaigns can go to the [wiki]Fissure of Woe[/wiki] and the [wiki]Underworld[/wiki]. There aren't really many other elite missions in prophecies, except for maybe [wiki]Sorrow's Furnace[/wiki].

Factions gets [wiki]The Deep[/wiki] and [wiki]Urgoz's Warren[/wiki], along with various [wiki]Challenge Missions[/wiki]. Nightfall gets the [wiki]Domain of Anguish[/wiki] as well as more challenge missions. You don't need a guild to do them with, but typically they are more fun and you tend to do better if you go with people you know and get along with.

Most of these missions require 8 people, but the Deep and Urgoz's Warren require 12.
