PvP Skill Points, is there a point to them?

Anyone else have a pvp character who you just never delete and has a bunch of skill points on?
I just really don't see the use, it's not like you are going to be buying skills and using up the skill points like you would on a normal character.
And with the pvp reward items, you really wouldn't want to delete that character or you lose them permanently.
Any ideas on what use they could be put to?

It does nothing, so why do you care if you lose them when you delete the char? Plus I've deleted at least 30+ pvp reward items...

Nah there is no use for them.

put one of those consumables in your guild hall and buy those ones that take up skill points ^^.... (idea, not fact)
