Suggestion for Anet: BMP Weapons in HoM

Me, my friends, my guild palls and other guild wars players who I do not even know, have dicussed this Bonus mission pack event.

ALL of us agreed that we will not buy it, for 2 reasons:
1. most people didn't have a credit card or pay pal and are too lazy to obtain them.
2. the weapon rewards from the bonus mission pack cant be stored in the HoM.

Most would want to overcome the credit card/paypal account lack and buy enough in the ingame store to get the BMP if they could store the weapons in their HoM.

So Anet, why not make the BMP weapon available for HoM use?
Of course you shouldn't be able to store 11 weapons from the BMP in your HoM, because then:
1. it would be easy to fill the monument.
2. no one would buy destroyer weapons any more.

Also, we all know why Anet didn't make it possible to add your gold or green weapons to the hall of monument. There were simply too many skins to make for guild wars 2 then, and this would be :

1. Too much work.
2. bad, it would create a lack of originality, since guild wars 2 would then house like all the gw 1 weapons, so it wouldn't really have that 'all new' feeling.
3.Bad for anet, since they would have to think of dozens of new skins for the normal gw 2 players without a HoM.

The good thing about the BMP weapons is, that they are a few, select, awesome looking weapons, who would definatly suffice as gw 2 unique, cool weapons. I have heard a lot of people complaining about the Valor monument only being able to add destroyer weapons and not atleast a second cool skin set, so this issue would then be adressed aswell.

So here's my idea:

Make it possible to store 3 BMP weapons per character in your HoM. This way the easy going guild wars players can have some weapons for their gw 2 accounts 2 and the pro guild wars players who make tons of gold will still get to 'show off' their cool destroyer gear, as it will not lose it's value(you can't fill the valor monument with BMP weapons, you can just add the 3 you liked most)

Owh and Anet, as stated above, you can make A LOT of $$ if you do this, since A LOT of guild wars players will buy from the ingame store to get the BMP, so they can add some of the awesome weapons to their HoM.

Hope all you people like the idea, feel free to criticize and improve my idea, we are a community after all.

-EDIT- Apperantly I forgot that the promotion period is over. of course they would have to make the BMP accesable for everyone, as long as they buy stuff in the ingame store. Else my idea would kinda be.. well rubbish:P -EDIT-

imo i reckon they should dump the destroyers weapon out of HOM and shove torment in =) b4 they do anything. but on topic i dont think they will do it , just too much hassle and alot of people will complain.

The promotion period is over, so making more money won't happen. But I do think the weapons monument needs expanding.

Adding BMP weapons to monument when not everyone has the pack = More trouble.

The weapons monument is the most limited out of all the monuments.

Fairly disappointing I'd say. Any expansion to it would be nice.

since you can't get bmp anymore - adding the possibility to put bmp weapons in HoM would outrage the ppl who can't get em.

change it so the weps are account custimized, not char?

BMP are promo items. They arent really achievements.

What lyra said. There's no real prestige from having spent enough in the store to earn the mission pack.

/notsigned. They're cool, and I agree HoM needs more weapons, but not the BMP ones.

HoM needs all kinds of changes, but just changing the monuments to add another set of SPECIFIC items isn't going to make people happy as a whole. I hope anet finishes those changes to the HoM soon; I have a strong feeling they never started them and just said they were to shut people up.

too easy to get imo. obviously tormented weapons need to be added then perhaps the "rarest" weapon of each type but it need to be gold req 9 perfect stats or somthing

Tormented weapons in HoM? Hell no.

Does anyone remember the duplicating problem, where tons of armbraces were made and distributed at unreal prices (like 10k) to players? Not EVERYONE was banned for that, and there's still tons of torment weapons out there. I just saved up money to buy my Destroyer Axe, and I don't want that bastard who happened to keep his account safe with his/her armbraces to stock up their HoM full of Tormented crap after I wasted my time getting one measly axe in there.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't putting weapons into HoM customize it to the player who placed it? If so, that'd actually be a very nice weapon sink and an excellent way to get some of those exploited bracers out of the game.

Gaile allready said NO. Destroyer ONLY. While yes, it would look sweet having a Tormented weapons rack all shiny like its just not gonna happen. Perfect weapons wont either. As much as id like to show of my perfect r8 Dagger collection in my HoM that wont happen either.

The idea of customized to a persons account instead of char ..... i will /Signed that idea and also for Mini Pets.

Remember you wont get to take these weapons out and use them in GW2.

I was so against the Destroyer Weapons Rack...... but I finally gave in. My heroes are pimped with those damn things now and I even had to delete the daggers cause they are the ugliest things ive ever seen in my GW years. I was kinda upset that I couldnt expert salvage them for Onyx.

While I think more weapons should be available for Valor, I think it should be Torment Weapons first.

With a lot of people not having access to the BMP I don't think it would be fair to them to allow them to be added to the HoM.

Of course if they sell the BMP in the store then that's just another problem altogether.

For starters it isnt fair, and also everyone can have 3 bmp weapons in a matter of moments..

They need to alter the monument, but in a way it is still a challenge
