Password Change

I recently read a thread on another part of this forum by someone whose account was hacked while he was away from GW. I am also not playing GW at the moment, but am worried about this happening to me. I've checked to make sure it hasn't happened already, but I want to change my account password to be safe. The problem is, I can't figure out how. I log in and select to edit my account, then change my password, which directions me to the PlayNC site where I am asked to enter my account and password. I can't figure out what my account name is; I try to enter the account name I use to log onto the actual game (E-mail address) but it doesn't fit. What is it looking for, and how can I change my password?

EDIT: I figured out how to change my password on the PlayNC site and can log on with it there, but it says the password is invalid on the actual game. Do I need to do something else?

Your PlayNC password and account are separate from your GW pw & account (although they can be the same). I'd say, go back to your original method - log in to GW and go to "edit my account". This time, when it directs you to PlayNC, you will have a PlayNC account and PW, which will allow you to change your GW password (hopefully )
