I am known to my guild as "The guy who farms anything and everything", however, despite all my farming, and lots of views on the high end forums, i have noticed that lots of people are selling lots of req8 items, and that im not getting a sniff at any of them. They seem to be around in abundance, but i never seem to get any.
So my question is - Do req8 items still drop, or are people selling preivously found items from before a nerf?
Thanks before hand, and i apologise for being so ignorance.
Do req8's still drop?

In the past FEW weeks I have seen more req7 +15^50% weapons for sale than in 2 years and a half.
Same goes with rare skinned req8's, like chaos axes and fellblades: if you take for example 3 or 6 months ago, now the market is flooded with _at least_ twice the amount that you could see.
Your opinion will be different, but I strongly feel that we're still under the effects of dupes, hell knows if surviving dupes of the first generation, or new ones.

You are talking about full damage req 8's no doubt. Never knew they existed. Its a peculiar things about the weapon system in GW, it mostly sucks. The differnec I have seen from NM to HM is by and large very small. The monsters being mostly a higher level just means there is a slightly better chance of a drop being better.

I have a few req 8 max damage golds, that all dropped I think at latest the end of 2006. They are all common skins, or have fairly bad inherent damage mods though (including a req 8 max gold chaos axe with 15 v hexed
), so I've never really bothered trying to sell them.
Too rare to merch, too much of a hard sell for a casual trader to bother to try to shift. I guess as the perceived rarity of req 8 has increased, so has the market for the marginal ones, and you will see more offered for sale.

I had a req 8 gold - max damage , inscribable bramble longbow from a hidden treasure in nightfall about 3 months ago.
I sometimes use it when I hero hench with my necro so I can stay way back and control the fight from a distance - other than that - does get much use
(Actually I suppose I could give it to my ranger - drop down marksmanship and maybe try beast mastery for a change....hmmmm)

When you buy stock you don't just sell it at any given time. You wait for the Price to rise well over and then you sell it.
Just like now how req 8s seem to hardly drop anymore and more people are selling the "rare" req 8s because more and more people are buying them now for more and more money.
