W/Rit UW hard mod possible?

I can handle UW smite runs with W/Rit no problems in normal mode. But what about hard mod? Probably no issues with Graspings, but the Smites might out damage VWK. Anyone do this with much success?

Do the monsters follow the same patterns in Hard mode vs Normal mode? For example, the Aatxes have stationary and patroling groups in the chamber. I'm guessing that hard mode might spawn more Aatxes, Graspings & Smites. I'm too cheap to waste a plat to find out!

you might have a chance when a human ranger comes with ya, with serpents quickness, quickening zephyr, baltha spirit and essence bond or so, then you can keep up VwK and with baltha on you you can spam vengeful weapon too, altough it'll be harder because the ranger has to run with you, and place the spirits in safe range

Aatxes follow more, all creatures hit harder, dying nightmares harder to kill, faster cast times etc.

You can try it but I don't see how well it would work.

You cant outrun aatxes who hit like 150 dmg when you have 150 armor. GG game over.

You will still get the same drop rate for ectos... and golds barely drop at all anyways in UW it seems. But yeah, I think you would beable to handle Graspings possibly, but Smites will hit alot harder... plus the Smites run and heal alot, so they take a long time to kill. My 330hp takes long to kill the Smites, I can't imagine how long W/Rt would take to kill them... tell you the truth I don't think W/Rt would even beable to kill them cause of the small damage output.

Anything is possible with Armor of Salvation!!!

Well, if ecto drop rate is the same, then I'll just stick with NM. I hardly ever get gold drops in NM except from chests. The extra hassle in HM isnt worth it I guess.

W/Me can do HM no problem

just go 330hp rt/mo and do a smite run in 9 mins! HM

plus drop rates are increased, and i get gold drops all the time in UW HM.
