Anet: How about some armor storage?

I have many PvE characters, most of whom have more than one set of armor. Farming sets, various sets to effectively run certain builds, and fun sets I find attractive.
It's not a vanity to me. I don't buy armors to 'show off' to anyone. I buy only the sets I personally like the looks of, because quite frankly, I don't care what anyone thinks about my armor selections.
I wish I could buy more. My Warrior in particular needs more sets, but I just don't have the room. I just salvaged one of her two sets yesterday, as a matter of fact. I didn't have a choice, something had to go.

i love it i've been thinkin about that for a long time i hope they do it
and while theyre at it would be cool if they could add a weapon department in your storage also...cuz god that would help PvP'ers that use pve characters alot seeing i have like 6 different weapons for each kind of weapon so like 6 swords 6 axes 6 hammers 6 shields w.e now i have no room to put my stuff anymore and i dont think people should have to make Mule characters just to put theyre stuff

With the introduction of HoM each of my characters have 4 sets of elite armor (one from each campaign). I keep space in my storage chest just so I can move stuff over for farming. I don’t think having space for extra armor sets will have a dramatic affect on the economy of the game.

But meh ... It is some sort of a storage extension and Gaile already said that they won't expand the chest size anymore.
So I don't see this happen.

I was thinking in a way to add a storage for my armors and...
Why do not use a NPC like Festival Hat Maker (http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Festival_hat_maker) to 'copy' our armors, so we can delete from our storage/inventory and get a new one just talking to him?
A name? Armor Tailor Agent

I have one storage tab filled with armors belonging to my warrior, another with mesmer sets and one with miscellaneous armor parts. Not to mention pretty much all my character personal inventory space is filled with various weapons and armor, so whenever I go questing, I can't really pick anything up! And I don't want to salvage all my armor I worked so much to get either, so...
/signed, oh ANet, please, /signed!
PS. Why can't the HoM monument actually store the armor you display?

Eh... and how much would it cost to get it back from the tailor?
Still doesn't solve the problem for some.
For example if you have a Radiant set, a Survivor set... and Dreadnought's, Knight's and Sentinel...
Unless you can get your armor back with insignia's still on it.

This is a half decent Idea.
there would have to be some limitation doh.
For example, armor created from this guy would have to be unsalvageble because this way, I could just put in Obsidian armor, keep crafting it and then salvaging for ecto.
I would also say, just a blank armor would be created from this.

I have 4 monk armors and 2 for Assassin, Ritualist, Ranger and Mesmer. I always wear one, so I have in storage 3 monk and 4 other characters'. 7 rows wasted on armor... 7x5 = 35 items I can't put in storage. Yaay.

This is probably the oldest.
Which then begs the question... why don't we have it yet?

keep posting ideas! we need this problem solved :P

Because Anet is busy making WOW 2.

You should be able to store your armor in HoM and pull it out whenever you want.
This also should apply to pets and weapons....

It could be done so that there is a spot for each type of armor.
for a war
Knights
Knights 15k
plate
Plate 15k
and so on. just drop all the peaces in its little box and then just double click that box to get that armor on and autmaticly put the armor you have on away.
idk

I have way to many 15K armor sets. They take up too much room but I just cant part with them.

The HoM made this feature more and more necessary, since we're encouraged to have more than one armour set...in fact, I'd say we're encouraged to have more than 3 armour sets, yet we clearly don't have enough storage space to keep them all...

How did they not already have this in place?

/signed, more storage for EVERYTHING would be helpful too >_>
But I guess GW2 is much more important, eh? -___________-

No biggie if it doesn't happen but it would be nice. It's the main reason I'm holding off buying more armour for my HoM. I just don't have the space.
BLOODGOAT
That means I would need EotN just to store my armor :/ As logical as it sounds, I just don't want to shell out $40 for armor storage.
A Leprechaun
I really need this armour storage, I think I have about 8 suits of armour in my storage, thats 40 slots taken up with armour alone, not to mention weapons.
/signed, need at least armour and maybe weapon storages.

/signed for any and all storage increases of any kind.
Anet already sells extra storage, and they know it. It's called Extra Character Slots and they are 9.99 at the Guild Wars Store.
That is why we do not see in game storage increased to a reasonable level. Because our frustration with their storage situation nets them 9.99 every time someone runs out of space.
I would prefer to spend the same amount of money (or gold, or faction, or whatever) to simply buy more storage space outright.
Also, everything that is exactly the same as another item should be able to stack. A Sskai's sword should be able to stack, they are all the same. A radiant rune should be able to stack, they are all the same. Etc.
The few people that are inexplicably opposed to more storage seem to fall into two camps. There are the "I don't need it, so you don't need it" crowd, and the "It would use up to much space on the server" crowd.
Both arguments fail.
"I don't need it" crowd. Where is your sense of perspective? I don't need a liver transplant, does this mean that no one should get one? I don't need a prison sentence, does that mean no one should get one? I can live in a small house, and drive and old beat up car, and have no issues with it, does this mean that larger houses and newer cars should not be made available for those who are willing to pay for them?
"Server Space" crowd. Go take a look at any of your PvP Equipment templates. Every possible combination of PvP Equipment, their skins, their mod combinations, the color they are dyed, are all stored in less than 30 characters. (Not at my gaming PC so I can't give an exact #) How many potential combinations of equipment is covered in a simple string of characters that is shorter than this sentence? The mind reels. You can't tell me that having another page of storage is going to break servers when they can compress that much data in to 30 Bytes.

/singed, could be something like and armor rack in main towns. Pay a one of fee of 500g (like the zulnai 50g) and then you can store 5 armors per campaign? It could be like there is a slot of head, chest, hands, legs and shoes and it will allos you to mix and match... also, the ability to take out an armor set at a time would be cool. omg, have an urge to make a concept pic
