Create-a-build!

Hello Everyone.

It's time to stop using the same old carbon copy popular farming builds. I raise a question to the general farming community... can you make a new build that is verisitile and usable to farm today. I also pose a challenge, can you make a build that does not use Grenth's Balance, VwK, SV, SS, or SoJ and finally, 130hp Dervish.

I'd love to see some builds using some underloved elites, and underloved classes, like the mesmer, paragon, or something to that effect.

You know... People all the time post them in the Farming forum. There's no need for a topic for that.

Yeah you could use... mmm not thats a skill from monks....

you can use... nah... this one too....

You can..... hey you can just bring a lvl 20 mesmer and pick Conjure nightmare && other degeneration skills to a begginer island at the first zone.

Or just pick a warrior and kick their ### with powerfull melee attacks....

Even you could take a petmaster ranger build so you pet will tank whatever you find.

All in NM of course.

If you'r lucky, you will get crap items, some dyes and even a black dye.

Without monk skills you will tell how do you constantly heal yourself in HM haha.

Are you serious? People use and create offshoots of those builds because they work! Not because people are unoriginal. I agree that there are a ton of lazy people in guild wars, however, I see a ton of ingenuity on the part of someone who can modify an existing build to make it better. Also, I've created a ton of farming and AB build on my own, only to find out that they either already existed, or something similar to the build was already in existence. We are working with a finite number of skills... and over half of them suck. Lastly, you ask not to get flamed, yet you are still calling for people to post new farming builds... and I have to wonder why that is... do you want to copy those builds and use them to farm? Wouldn't that defeat the purpose of the exact post you posted....? How about this... don't complain about anyone using or posting either existing or modified builds when you are on the search to borrow someone else's new farming build (so they put all that work and research into something you then use with impunity).

Please close this useless thread... Create your own build and stop trying to seem superior to others. My carbon copy detector is going off!

Psh. It's easy to request it from people and wait for the results. Also making it a "challenge" is clever but no one smart would fall for that, stop being lazy and make one yourself if you can.

And actually, now that you mention it.. I will offer a reward. Although, I'll need to think of one....I'll post one up as soon as I come up with it.

Surley (how the hell do you spell this word?!) not by using the conventional farming builds created by other people.

The reason these skills are used is because they're the only ones that let us farm, there are farming builds for near enough every elite out there.

Me and my friend already created the "Duo Foundry Farming".

For some reason, my friend gave the build to someone else and now it's maybe known.

I want to see a farming build for...oh... Primal Rage, Discord, Soul Bind, Wail of Doom, among others, so yeah, near all the elites are used.....right.

In closing, your claim that most elites are used for farming is incorrect.. if anything, only a third of the elites out there are used for farming. Everything else, is either used in a very small portion, or not at all.

Lul. (Good) old boss farmer, before Discord cast time nerf, after Discord damage buff. The only use for Discord in PvE was nerfed.

Btw: I think jsalvadore wanted to sound funny, but actually... Shadow Form is pretty popular farming elite.
