adding Weap Mods make BMP mission easier?

Does modding the weapons you must equip for the BMP make those weapons more effective during the course of the BMP mission?

For example, if I added sundering to Ossa's sword, would it do more damage against Palawa?

And before anyone tells me "it's fine, L2P," I've already beaten the missions. Just wondering.

I believe you meant Vampiric.

Yes you can add mods to the weapons of the BMP (except the Gwen mission, of course) and you do get the benefits of the mods.

According to Wiki, mods won't affect your stats while inside the mission. Haven't tried it myself.

+health and +armor mods probably won't affect you, but if you put Vampiric on your sword then it should do +3 damage every attack. Although considering Turai hits for like 80-100 on auto attacks that doesn't really mean anything.

Then I suppose it's like the Costume Brawl. Interesting how they couldn't make a set weapon for the missions/Brawl, instead requiring you to actually equip one to use.

Alternatively you could press F8 which opens your inventory and use your own weapons. And before you say it doesn't work, yes it does "I" doesn't work but F8 does. I assume this is a bug though.

lmao To OP: Maybe try adding some mods and doing the missions to see if it works?

I believe you ARMOR stats stay the same so maybe + armor might work. Other then that ... idk

if the weapons have an inscription slot, i don't see why adding an inscription wouldn't take effect. mods, though, i dunno.

This does indeed work, and if people want, I can post images of Turai Ossa weilding an undead sword and a mursaat shield. I also have screens of Gwen taking damage from the siege devourer with and without a shield. The shield's armor definitely takes effect. Enchanting mods also seem to work (gave Gwen a sword of enchanting and compared the length of illusion of haste). The only thing that seems capped is your health and energy; other effects seem to work just fine.
I guess when modding your weapon, go for +armor rather than +hp or +e...

This seems like a fairly large oversight, but then again it's not like you couldn't achieve the same effects by modding the BMP specific weapons. It doesn't really give you an advantage. Though I'm kind of tempted to give gwen a shield and a wand with 15^50 and see if she can wand charr to death...

Aww, Gwen can't attack even when she has a weapon...

I really wanted to vanquish the charr too...

Yes, you can, but why?

The BMP missions are mostly easy as heck, and the points where they're hard aren't things that a weapon mod is going to fix.
