Ok I beat it once no problems now I can't for the life of me beat it the 2nd time?
I get to the part where the guards surround you, after beating the master and his students and I get my butt kicked everytime. Someone give me some hints on what I need to do?

Place spirits right after the cutscene, let them mob up on you / Talon, and Dragon Rage them.

Yea well its difficult, after the scene ends, you have about 5 or less seconds. Immediately cast the spirits and wait for all three mobs to get to you. A few times one mob or so will remain unfortunately...Talon silverwing should be able to hold them back for a few seconds while you spirits chip in putting some damage, so you should run while this is happening. After running for a bit your dragon rage should be fully charged again :-) then kill the rest and recharge.

Are you talking about the part when the students move to the side to let you fight? IF so, and IF you just want to repeat the mission without discoveries, as soon as you are done killing the master, walk towards the door, I think there is a door on each side. IF you don't move and just wait there, the students become hostile. I found out the hard way. Wait by the door/gate and it will open after a few seconds.
If you want to kill the students, then I don't know because I haven't tried it yet.

Lol right after I posted it I ran it again and beat it. What I did was dragon rage the first group at the bottom of the stairs and then took off running to the backside of the bridge and setup my spirits there and waited to recharge my dragon rage and hit the next group. That time it was easy.

Yup. I beat it the first time through, then accidentally lost a tengu item when I salvaged a mod out of it to put on something more appropriate. Could not for the life of me beat it again. After screaming and cursing I managed the next morning on the first attempt again. /sigh

I usually have set up the spirits before the cutscene, in the doorway, that way the guards chasing you up the steps get distracted and you can deal with one of the side groups instead.

Well if you arent keeping Talon alive, then use him what he is there for-bait.
Once after the cutscene, Talon seems to run towards the right gate group, I run faster than him and all of the Guard mob him. By setting spirits down, they split up, so let Talon get mobbed, and run in and Dragon Rage them. All should be dead with one blow.
If you need to keep Talon alive, well I dont know :P This has worked for me the 6 or so times I've done it (kept choosing Scepter instead of Staff)

I did it fairly easily by running right past the students up to the boss while he was still talking and not hostile. Laid ALL of my spirits then used dragons. After that your pretty much home free.

2. Kill everyone (not sure if this includes students, need help on this).
3. Keep the Tengu leaders alive. Haven't done this yet either.

I found this to be, by far, the easiest mission to do the discoveries. You can easily do all three each time you do the run through, the only difficult part is killing the students, but if you place a set of spirits on one side of the room, and then run to the other corner, you can dispatch the first three while the far three are caught up in your spirits. Then just finish the rest off. For the assassin search locations, just use wiki, and the trick to keeping talon alive is good use of rage, particularly in the area after the students. I find it's easiest to just quickly eliminate two groups of the guards (they'll gather around talon, use rage), and then tank the other group with talon/spirits. You'll have enough time and energy to rift them a few times, while keeping talon up.

i've had a tough time with this one as well. i always die at the part where the bazillion guards mob you. i manage to kill like 2/3 of them, then they kill talon, and i just can't keep myself up alone mend body and soul just isn't cutting it.

You really do have to use Talon as bait there. If you can just keep him standing until all 3 groups get in, then Rage on their faces and you should be fine.
Lately, I've been moving left (on the landing) and getting ensconced in that group of guards first, otherwise they seem to take the longest to get to you.
