Instead of 3rd year minipets....Everlasting Tonics :D

I know i am not alone on this one. I have no more room, or money to buy minipets. Why not do something fun with the 3rd year presents now.

My idea is everlasting tonics. There is already a everlasting beetle tonic, so they have idea implemented into the game already.

Minipets are boring too :|

Why not make something a little more useful - bottomless dwarven ale?

That you can drink only once per day.

I don't think tonics are the best idea.. but anything is better then minipets.

What kind of dwarf gets drunk on an ale a day? Should be at least 10 drinks a day.

(~1.3 sec item use time, I don't think my high nano init speeds it up)

For GW it should be usable again, like 5 seconds after you stop being affected by the first swag;
So you'd still need to buy booze to get drunk; as drunkard takes either multiple drinks to get drunk enough or a specially strong festival/high priced drink

Though you can maintain drunkness with 1 drink; you'd still need to buy a drink for 1 out of 2 swags, becasue it wouldn't have recharged yet.

Or even better Dynamix his "Everlasting bottle of rum" which is instant, but that is supposed to be an unique item, the ARKs gave only to him...

Make it 100 if you want.. but it shouldn't contribute to Drunken title.

why not? it only happens once per 3yo char, its not like 50% are 3yo, and it would only contribute to 1% of the total drinks you need, you'd need to find 100 people willing to sell theirs, thus reducing even more the number of people getting their drunkard title using this.

Well, isn't that the whole point of my suggestion really (to get title benefit as well)? Anyone who wasted as much money as drunken title takes would have something new to talk about at their next AA meeting, but I doubt at the rate of which new and relatively easy maxable titles are being introduced that they'd be concerned about this one.

Think of all the 3rd year people that would have use for Drunken Master now.

I still think they should have given a miniature AND something else for second birthdays. I guess they could toss in 3 Everlasting Tonics (Beetle, Elf, Candy Cane) as green spawns, or they could just make 3rd birthdays all the "special" miniatures so everyone shuts up about them. :|

Who knows, maybe they'll get carried away with the cool booklet idea they have and bundle in a booklet about the minipet you got. Seems more like them than to give out something more wanted.. B-day pet and card.. aw how nice.

I'd be so much happier with a lifetime supply of alcohol. Gaile can we please be drunk and merry on our 3rd bdays?

Exactly. Just because there are millions of minipets, that doesn't mean the Kanaxi minipets are worth less.
In fact, all those crummy minis might actually raise the prices of true rare minis by increasing awareness of the existance of minis. All those devourer minis are like like advertisements to tell players that better ones exist.

More everlasting tonics, but don't give bettle tonics too keep those rare and expensive (since they were rewarded for a skill based competition).
