Well it all began on a peaceful AB match, I was doing what I always do in AB, cap shrines and stuff and so this (apparently) professional player starts to talk, check the chatlog below for full story.
From his talk he claims I did nothing and he just cried all the time in his comments.
I would like to know how seriously players take the game when they play.

Taking the game seriously is one thing, taking the game TOO seriously is another. If you want to dictate how someone else plays a char then I suggest using heroes or henchies! They'll take orders marginally better than humans and then you can whine about their AI when you fail!

Warriors don't always equal a tank. Tanking is stupid anyway in pvp.

Yea, i think this guy doesn't exactly know what to do. to win you CAP, which is the only way possible to win.
On a side note WTF is wrong with this guy... you get what, faction points from winning? and you get some from losing too! I would definitely understand this if I was playing FoW...but this... come on. Of course maybe its the long wait to get there, i remember having to wait 30 minutes due to the shortage of players in AB, but...yea stupid

So you ran into some tool who can't understand one thing about the class he's playing and basic PvP tactics and exchanged some insults. Coincidentally this happened in the glorious battle of alliances where the cream of Guild Wars is known to meet. How tragic. I guess the reputable Odin's Eternal Kingdom guild isn't so virtuous after all, what a shocking turn of events.

I think GW community is, in general, kind of elitist. It's like we are part of a secret cult of enlighted few.
WoW, childish as it is, have a more relaxed atmosphere (in general)

Yes, GW is somewhat elitist. It can be expected from any MMORPG that a few people will be elitist about maximizing potential and whatever else.
But WoW has a WAY MORE tense atmosphere. People go at each others throats, drama is everywhere and it tears guilds apart often. I remember seeing someone post on the WoW forums that one of his ex-guild members was literally crying on ventrillo because someone was replacing him in a raid.
GW is a godsend compared to that horrible game and horrible community.

GW is hard enough to cut some people away. What is left, however, think they are playing 3d chess with their eye closed.
Just ask anybody what they think of Random Arena. The answer will show what kinda of community we have.

All crazyness in WoW in concentred in raids. The raid scene is full of drama, elitism and crazyness.
BUT...
If you don't raid, you are free of it and raid is just a part of the game.

LOLLOL the OP's screenie made me laugh. Had the same thing last night in AB, but from an opposing player.
I have been working on anti Sin/melee build that allows me to cap and play as usual but deals with the annoying Sins. And I finally got it right last night. YAY. When a War or Sin pounces on me I blind them, degen them and then run like hell till they drop or give up on me.
Last night:
I am a squishy Necro. While capping a shrine a HUGE opposing team War sprints up to be with a huge hammer in his hands and just before he reaches me I blind him and start to run in circles around him while waiting for my degen skills to recharge, I douse him in degen and run like hell to cap another shrine. Suddenly in All Chat:
Him: hey [char name] stop runnnninng
Me: who me?
Him: YES - you not supposed to run around, get running shoes nub, its not how you play AB!!
Me: I WILL kite from you when you are hitting me, idiot
Him: NUB, it's AB, you die you res you die you res you dont run away from me, learn 2 play AB.
Me: do you really think I'm going to stand there and let you kill me -squishies learn to kite.
Him: NUB, stand still NO RUNNNNINNNGGG
me: well, this nub managed to kill you a few times, now I'm off to cap a shrine...
Ahhh good for my soul - I now know my build rocks LOL

Why would anyone want to try to play a tank in AB? I see them running around sometimes and just ignore them. Running around them to slaughter their teammates is easy.

PvP is a non-stop QQ fest either over how OP everyone else's class is, how broken their own class is, or how awesome their twink character is. Forum trolls on class balance are extremely common.
WoW is just all around crap, I would argue.
