i play ranger with every hero / complete UAX on skills....any ideas? not UB for the love of god I will hunt you down and kill you if you suggest it!

spoil victor, Enfeeble, empathy, ethereal burden all help. If you have a nice Asura rank then pain inverter will make him drop fast. Wild blow helps break Shiro's stances also.
The trick is, is to not to attack shiro until the lich is down. Then when it comes to capping the shrines, weaken and slow shiro while running to the back of the Shrine. Shrio wont follow all the way allowing you to cap the shrines. Rinse and repeat until all the shrines are down then Shiro should be easy, esp with super fast attack speeds .

The problem is, in hard mode shiro hits really hard, even when he is at full health, and can easily take take a party trying to drop the much buffed lich. When I went (as a necro) I took enfeeble. My job during the lich fight and the shrine caps was to keep shiro enfeebled (thus doing only 33% of his normal damage). At 16 Curses, enfeeble lasts 21 seconds, or only 10 on shiro, but it has a 5 second recharge so that's all right.
Once you are ready for shiro, put SS, incid and pain inverter on him (arcane echo PI if you can). Once he gets down in health he'll start jumping around like a flea on crack. Since you are going to be damaging him with curses, you can keep him enfeebled if you want, just be warned that he will spread it around. Your healers will be strained by this as he does sick damage. The danger here is that he drops your necro. If your necro dies and is not brought back quick and at full energy (i.e. SS sig) you will lose against shiro. Good luck.

any good h/h builds? doin atm...MoW SS with enfeebling blood and hexes...ele with nuking stuff...and the other hero im not mentioning :P so bad but working well..2monk 1 mes 1 para hench me BHA PI interupter....any thing that could change if I fail?

I beat him having something like 15 minions around him along with most of my party while putting SS and insidious on him, fun times .

Another time my team stacked some defenses on one warrior to make him nigh unhittable: Bonetti's Defence (75%) + Guardian(50%) + Weapon of Shadow (90% from blind) = shiro swings at nothing, total of about 88% pure block and then 98% for a few seconds since shiro gets blinded every time he hits you. While capping just keep blind or weakness on shiro and he is easy to handle as long as you aren't fighting him while capping and thus charging his battle scars. A ranger should be able to use a few stances and do nearly as well as a warrior tanking him. Also, as a ranger you can very easily do hit and run against shiro, just shoot him, go about 20 feet past the doorway and he will lose aggro, step over that magic aggro line again and shoot, repeat ad infinitum.
BTW it is possible to pull the lich without shiro, hug the right side very very slowly after both go hostile and there is a very few feet that the lich's aggro range covers that shiro's doesn't.

Hehe, I know what you mean. When I went to GoM HM, I ran a sin tanking build with live vicariously, vigorous spirit, crit defenses, crit agility, golden fox strike, wild strike, crit strike, and moebius strike. He never got me below 80% health, and I just tanked at the entrance to the arena-area while my team dropped the lich and capped shrines. I nearly had a heart attack when shiro broke aggro...but I managed to catch him again before he got to the shrines ^ ^.

I just henched it in HM with 1 sv hero, 1 ss hero, 1 healing hero, and myself as Ursan. My hencmen were the 2 monks, sologon, and the illusion hench. I used the GWEN consumables, grail, essence and armor, and shiro was almost dead before i capped all the shrines without me ever targeting him. I tried to flag my h/h around so that they wouldn't attack him, and he still almost went down before i capped the shrines. after i capped the shrines it was only like 3 hits with ursan and he was dead.
The Way Out
Shiro is not the problem in HM... as long as you can get to him. Clearing the rifts are a pain with h/h sometimes because of their need to drift and aggro everything! Run around and cap all the shrines. Bring "You move like a dwarf" and blast that at Shiro as you run from shrine to shrine. It slows his killing spree on poor Vekk... (he always kills my vekk, vekk can't move as fast, short legs! lol... jking). Once you clear the shrines and kill the lich, pull Shiro outside of the temple, where he will inevitably rubberband. Pay close attention to that. I can 55 Shiro there all day.... make sense? Let the remaing h/h target him with degens he will go down hard. Also, equip an ele with Maelstrom... it works. There are so many ways to kill Shiro. I just love inventing new ones.

made it back there killed the lich and started capping shrines...then shiro followed further then I believe he does normally....right into the corner further then were he normally rubber-bands back...? does he normally follow right into the corner or does he still leave after a certain distance? cause he followed right into the cornor and I couldn't flag my heroes fast enough before he killed the monks and the rest of the team fell shortly after cause they couldn't rez fast enough (or rezed wrong target) *sigh* have to figure out what the hell to do....mission is easy just seem to be screwed by either the lich or shiro!
am I just being really retarted or is it like...I'm doing something seriously wrong when it comes to flagging my heroes right into the extremes of the corner?

You're probably doing it right. In hard mode, though, while he won't aggro you if you're in the corner, he will often KEEP aggro on you if he already has it, no matter where you are.

The great part was, he just sat there, lording over my corpse while I carefully flagged my h/h to go cap the shrines by themselves. Shiro never budged. Once the shrines were all capped, I flagged them to come rez me and fought Shrio.
Maybe it was a glitch, but maybe it can work for you.

tried again pwned lich and shiro just followed into corner = wipe...cant do anything about it! hench don't follow my flags = aggro shiro again!

The Meth
Are you making sure to manually tell one of your heros to keep blind or weakness on him constantly? Also make sure to turn your heroes to avoid combat and then manually force them to attack the groups, that way you aren't hurting shiro and activating his battle scars. Your party shouldn't have any trouble taking hits from a full health shiro if you are doing this. If you find one more person to go 2 people with 6 heroes it would probably be far easier due to better builds/less micro needed/henchies not attacking shiro and activating battle scars.

managed it at last through much flagging and killing shiro first...thanks for all the tips and thats my guardian title done 20/20 :P thanks all...ended up using SF nuker SS with weakness...Zenmai with Siphon Strength..(absolute amazing skill in this mission)

I imagine Siphon Strength would make shiro cry, nice skill choice there.
The Way Out
Payne... after you kill the lich and cap all the shrines, run back through the temple entrance you entered through. He will rubberband then. That is where you need to fight him... at the entrance.

Pulling Liche will make things much easier. To pull Liche, inch up on the right side just beyond the door which will start the Box Script. Wait until that is completed, then inch up on the right side until the Liche says, in small text (not in a box), "I have the Power", or something like that (don't go up any further than the rock outcrop on the right side). He will start approaching you and then wait until he comes and then touch him with your aggro bubble and pull him to the door, where your heros and henches await. This is the end of his leash. You should be able to take him down easily especially with interupts, Pain Inverter, SV,etc.
For Shiro Rit Spirits as well as Minions are good distractions for him to keep busy with while you capture the shrines. As a matter of fact if you get a few spirits that he is attacking at a shrine, and move your group outside of the raidar before he finishes the spirits, he may glitch and stay up there all alone. This makes it Shiro free to take the rest of the shrines. Also each Shrine you get the more blessing you get making it easier to take Shiro down after you get all the shrines.

no nid to pull lich just run in there and kill it. i dunno wats wrong with ur party i do GOM HM runs and i dont find any problem. i use 2 hench monk, spirit spammer, ss necro and a n/rt necro. no problem in tankin shiro at all. i do aggree that takin the portals are a pain if done wrong it could mean party wipe, and becareful of thoses titans make sure u kill them one by one.

Haven't done it in a long time and when I did it was not bad, just a tank and the rest elly's (no skills that cause burning used on shiro, just met shower and liquid flame and such), necros (ss and sv), and monks.....but If I were to re-do it I think running multiple paragons would be nice.. you would have warrior type DPS from 2 paragon hench ass well as the warrior tanking and the buffs that the gons provide as well. I may go do the mission for giggles this evening
