BMP weapons with mods?

if i put mods on the new BMP weapon, then i try to salvage these mods, will i destroy the weapon ???

the question is more can move my mods from skin to skin without destroying the weapon and mods with it ???

if you get a perfect salvage kit then you can salvage without fear of breaking the item.

you can get them in GWEN or off of players for 1.5 -2k

i know about the perfect salvage kit, but the question was more about the fact that BMP weapon can't be sold to merchant, can't get materials from so i was wondering if they'd act like Heroes armor, salvage all you can without destroying the armor .

ok i will try it myself with bad mods and will tell you all the result.

shouldn't it say in the salvage window before you actually salvage? like "you have a xx% chance of destroying x item"

Uhh, it's not hard to get these weapons...

I salvaged an Inscription off Turai's sword and it broke. So, yes, you can salvage, and yes, there is a chance of breakage.

not those weapons silly, the reward weapons.

I just modded up my warriors Charr Sword (with a Charrslaying mod just for irony's sake =oP), then tested with a Superior Salvage Kit, and yes, it gave me the warning that there is a xx% chance the sword will be destroyed. So unfortunately, if you want your mods removed and wanna keep the weapon, Perfect Kits it is. But also like Mordakai said, they're free and easy to get (for most), so if it destroys the base, another 10-15 mins in a mission you can earn another free one =o)

Oh well, you 'easily' can get a new one...

That is a bit of a bummer but oh well i did eapect that answer! thanks for trying, atleast it saves a bunch of people trying to salvage and breaking there weapons.
