Well, after getting so many flasks and creme, i decided to try again with four keys..

r9 and r10 Sun and Moon Shields
r11 fellblade
r10 celestial shield

Not bad i suppose, was just glad i didnt see anymore cremes or flasks..four keys=four golds..

EDIT: another 2 flasks, 1 r9 portal staff (+30hp) and 1 r10 crap accursed staff

what people seem to fail to realize is that before hand factions were worth ZERO gold....now you are guaranted at least 300g from any drop....and 3-5k for each key you sell.

You all complain too much.

If you actually just get Zaishen Keys without buying them, ie/ only using your left-over faction from random PvP activities, then everything you get is net gain. How could you be upset?

No more of this QQ I spent 200k and keys and didn't even get r8 Crystalline!
Just don't spend money.

That's only if you are stupid enough to buy the keys at 3-5k a piece.

Used some excess faction and tourney points, got:

alot of firewater/creme,
1 elite ranger tome,
1 elite dervish tome,
monk tome,
necro tome,
para tome,
ranger tome,
1 lockpick,
r10 celestial axe,
bunch of random golds not worth mentioning.

Not too bad I guess. Sold the tomes, using the creme for title, gave the firewater to a friend and using the axe on my mesmer

From what Ive seen any weapon that can drop somewhere can come out of this chest (excluding collector stuff like tormented etc). Lockpicks and tomes seem to be dropping somewhat regurarly aswell and ofc the notorious consumables. Now just waiting for that/those special drops that have been mentioned.

Why people care so much about this free keys? I don't get it. I just play RA and sometimes go and by some keys and get some free stuff.

i used about ~25 keys and got
Celestial Shield r13
Celestial Axe r13
Stygian Reaver r13
Bleached Skull r10
Elemental Sword r13
Channeling Rod r12

And lots of different tomes and consumables. Not bad i think

Sold Stygian 40k cuz i thought their price had gone down.

I think those keys prices are too high 5k and it wont even count towards treasure hunter title. And almost every item u get from that chest is crap.
So if those keys would cost 3000 faction instead of 5000 people wouldn't be so pissed off when they get bad items from it and keys prices would lower too. That would also make less people buy keys cause they would be easier to get.
Good thing in this chest is that it drops only inscripable items.
Because inscripable versions of factions and prophecies weapons,
like Chaos Axe, can be worth quite much. (sry for bad english)

Faction = gold now. Since the keys cost 5k faction, there selling for 5k gold. If they costed 10k faction they would sell for 10k gold, and same if they costed 1k faction (you guessed it! 1k gold!). Its nothing spectacular.

Curiosity & greed i guess. People are eager to see what their hoarded Balth faction & tourney points can yield and at the same time they want to see if it is really worth spending that amount to these keys, let it be faction, points or gold.

So ... I go to download the new build, after it tells me near a hundred times. I get back on, go to Wiki, and read what the updates were. I get to "The Xunlai Tournament House NPC now offers prizes for November," then I go talk to a Tournament Agent just to see if I managed to get lucky (Everything I bet on were entirely guesses), he gives me 75 Tournament Reward Points! Awesome! I go to my Guild Hall and talk to my main pal Tolkano. Oh, how about that, I can get Zaishen Keys with the rewards! I'm a bit of a gambler, but I figured that since this was going to be complete profit anyways what could be the harm. I use all 75 points on 15 keys, I run over to the Zaishen Chest and start it up. I start getting pretty pissed with the several firewaters coming out at first. Then, behold! I picked up a few items, because I didn't think to get a SS, I was just gathering the stuff up to show my guildies asap. But damn! My first time using this chest and I did NOT expect this. Disappointing the price went down so much, but oh well.

Just used up my tournament rewards on keys as well.

20 keys

50/50 golds (nothing of any real note) and consumables + two ordinary tomes. Not bad for a freebie, and it 's helping my wisdom title.

Opened the chest around 50 times now since it's come out.....25 just in the past 2 minutes. Not one single good drop. Every single one has been merchant food or consumables.....can't believe i wasted the money buying the keys.

Well, I'll say what has been said before; It's like a slot machine, you can spend millions of gold on it, and never get one good thing, where as the next person uses one key and gets a req.9 crystalline/other high end item.
