One of my worst chest drops so far.
The Paragon tomes could be useful on my PvE ranger since I dont have a paragon.
I might just save up to 20 keys instead of like 5 per trip even though a previous run I did that didnt bother posting I got gold items....but were crap.

There are some strange comments wedged in amongst the normal conversation here. Let me explain: Andrew and I were both told about very-rare and very-valuable drops in the Zaishen Chest, and we relayed that news (without details) to the players. Those very-rare drops have come to pass, as we all know.
Now, we won't be revealing the details about the items, because all of us on the Guild Wars Team want to preserve the fun of discovery and because those of us on the Community Team (wisely, I think) did not ask for a list of such items. I honestly can't comment on the Everlasting Roller Beetle Tonic, although I believe it is very likely to be genuine, especially because of the way it's portrayed in the screenshot.
What I want to say is: No one on my team "told lies to get people to use the chests" and no one on my team would do so. I'd like to lay that one to rest, right here and right now.

as far as i can see rare drops do drop in zaishen chest....
Icy bladed axe, as well as fiery blade axe a req9 stygiean reaver and an amethyst aegis drop
They dropped for me so why not for you.

i Think the best is to accumulate keys and then open the chest all at once....giving you a more randomize drops...
With 30 keys i got 10golds a few tomes a lockpick and severall cremes and flasks.

Didn't take a pic but opened 4 chests 2 days ago, req9 Sunqua blade, Golden Maul req9 18-35 but whatever still reaches max xD, firewater, creme brulee.

Dont ask me why, but i love rarity in the game. I greatly enjoyed trying to get that darnable mini polar bear. I can try another 300k+ at the chest and see what pops loose.

I bought like 45 keys yesturday for 2.4 k each and didnt have too much trouble either. Got a few neat things, few elite tomes, celestial axe and a few other random golds. At one point i had 10 keys and its was all fire water lol.
