I am not very good at conditioning my opponent yet, i think blinding them is one type of condition, and in my experience, blinding your opponent only works when it is affects melee type opponent.
my observation in ab recently, a ranger blind my elementalist with throw dirt. and the ranger was kill by my elementalist rofl, on another occasion and my elementalist blinded some ranger who then savages shot my elementalist to death. question, how did the ranger aim and manage to interrupt all my following spells while they are blind?
so what do you think about blinding effects that only affect melee warrior/assassin? does it not suppose to affect caster/range attack as well? because when you are blind even if its a range attack, you are still blind and probably cannot aim as good...
or is blind already working on all type of profession?

Well Blind effects Rangers and Paragons as well.
Daze on the other hand has practically no effect on Warriors, Rangers and Paragons.

The ranger might have removed his condition (e.g. with Mending Touch, which is common) before savage shotting you.
Also, blind is only a 90% chance to miss, so even while blinded, there is still the chance he can hit you, although it is unlikely that would happen many times in a row. Are you sure he was blinded the entire time?
Blind will work on dagger assassins, but not assassins that are using spell-based attacks.

Please note that blind gives players a 90% chance to miss with physical attacks. As such, it has no effect on spell. However, if you tried to attack with your wand/staff, you'd incur the same penalty. Dazed, on the other hand, doubles casting time, and if you are hit with an attack while casting, your spell is interrupted. As such, it is very effective on casters such as your Elementalist, but would generally do little on something like a Warrior. Don't forget that you can remove conditions through various methods.
