So because her brother modified the pic of the original she can't sell it as is, and because he modified it, it doesn't really exist in its non-max form?

Honestly, I don't know if this person is telling the truth or not but it's not fair to make accusations about it if you don't know either.

No she did not. The thread was closed by a mod LOOOONG before she admited to it being fake. The mod closed the thread untill verification of it's legitimacy could be made(as is usualy done with such items). She had zero to do with the closiing of the thread

Depends who made the original sales post stating it was max damage. Did she write the post, or did you brother do it. If she wrote the original post stating the axe was max damage, then she was in on the photo shop scam. You dont own a req 7 axe for years in Guild Wars without knowing what the max damage is for an axe!

OMG, amen to her request to close this thread - she said she had it - but never looked at it closesly, i'm betting she doesn't play gw very often - or never uses a war. She posted the high end thread and then looks like it closed right away. It is on her account she said, so why not try to sell it as a non max axe, wth is wrong with that? Her brother took the pic, altered it, told her to post it on guru for herself - and she did, because she knew she had that axe somewhere - she just didn't notice the change or that it wasn't max either way.

God damn guys, most of your comments and suspisions listed make no sense and are atating things that aren't true just to try to support your accusations.

But yeah, based off that message she sent to EVERY bidder, and the fact she wasn't banned - you all should eat some crow & shut up - the more posts that get posted, the less sense everyone is making.

And mods, yes, please close this thread and don't ban her, 90% of the posters here misunderstood everything and were making up crap that wasn't true or said just to promote themselves having a right to be a jerk.

The only thing I'm saying here is that as suspicious as it sounds, you should be fair and hold back judgment because we don't know the whole truth. It's not fair to call the OP a scammer, and it's not fair to come up with a story that sounds like it could be true to justify it because you don't know it for a fact.
