I've been running chests for a looong time and usualy had one elite tome every 13-14 chests in hard mode.....
with this 2x event in eye of the north, goldrate from locked HM chests jumps from around 66% to 100%. i can confirm this as i opened over 120 chests since the event started and never once i had a purple drop.

shame my elite tomes counter is still at "0" aswell... this rings a bell: are elite tomes considered a purple drop, despite having a gold written name?
wouldnt be very nice to discover that this event removes elite tomes from chests all around eye of the north

i'll keep running but my hopes are not high.

the usual north of boreal station run. 100% goldrate is still nice but no elite tomes is /fail
