Update 7/12/2007 question

I have a quick question, After the new update; I had to download all my files back, even 100MB+ to get Into the login screen.. does anyone else have this or is it just me? Please answer quick because I'm currently downloading 24,000 files to get into RA.

No. I did not. Are you sure you didn't by accident delete your .dat file for Guild Wars?

I never touched my gw.dat files.

I have 2 GW folders, 1 has Factions and I think the other 2 have Prophecies and Nightfall. Maybe the update only applied to one folder.. I have no Idea. The update also restored everything to default settings.

Why do you have two different GW folders? It's all the same game, you only need one GW file. You're just eating up hard drive space.

I also found 2 files on my desktop, Gw.dat and Gw.tmp. These we're created 2 days ago on 05/12/2007.
