inscription: i have the power!
energy + 5

vampiric 3/-1

armor +7 vs phys

so anyone know the price of a req 9 celestial?

Inscriptions on celestial items is rare. it's all max/perfect mods...The skin is desirable but the mods arent. though they can be changed, it decreases the value conciderably. But it's a good item in general.

The mods though, when used properly can be a good item as is, someone who knows how to and what to use them for. is someone you might want to look for as a buyer. On the other hand, if you take alittle cash and make it A sundeing celestial axe of fortitude u can probrably get 100k + ectos for it..

I'd say around 50-80k depending on the buyer

.......
Don't ever mod a weapon with 20/20 and +30 just to sell it.
What if the buyer wants it for his caster? Or for Farming ?
He will not pay extra for unneeded mods.

Of course the price would be higher with good mods on it. But the price will definitely not be higher than the price of the axe + the price you paid for the mods.

Just my opinion on modding a weapon to sell it....

@orionpriestofanu: It's not directly against you. But I have seen so many people in this forum who modded their req9 Dead sword or req12 Shields, or whatever with expensive mods and everyone tells them to salvage them off again.
Of course in this case, it's a very nice axe, good req, good skin, and probably someone will put a 20/20 and +30 on it, but he won't pay just an extra 50k because the mods are on it.

totally disagree with orion
Don't mod it

I guess you pulled it off the zaishen chest, prices are puring down so hard to have a pricecheck. would say 60-80k atm, but it will stabilize in a week or so.

Yeah, that weapon is perfect just the way it is. Like i said, someone who knows how to and what to use them for it would be more valuable to them as is, someone who wants +7 vs phys isnt goign to pay for a 20/20 price tag when their just going to change it back.

lolwut?

In the dream world that sometimes consists of the GW buyer's head, yes perfect mods can change the value of the item significantly. But by 50k? Uhhh do you want to buy my req9 Inscribable Dead bow for 100k +10? Seriously, adding 10k in mods will only change the value by... get this.... 10k!!!!!! OMG REALLY? yes, really...

~100k regardless of mods.

I wasnt SUGGESTING modding it up. I was simply telling him that IF he did, it would raise the price is all.

I would keep it the way it is, customize it and use it.

your also telling him to waste money buying mods when he could sell it as it is for more profit. adding those "perfect" mods does not dramatically increase the price of an item. the axe won't go up suddenly from 50-80k to 100k+ectos just because you added some mods on it. at the very best, if your lucky the buyer will only pay the extra amount you wasted buying the mods. furthermore, why would he customize it if he's trying to sell it?

agree with cale on the PC

Gonna close this now (early bump anyway).

A note to posters though, Orion in particular: If you aren't contributing a PC, don't post.

And yes, don't mod stuff.
