Hi

I got the 5 hours free trial for GWEN. Is it possible to go and get armour in that time? I'd especially like to get blindfold.

How to accomplish in short time?

I'm pretty sure that it is impossible in that short time.

Reg armor requires lvl 5 rank for that specific faction and the blind fold requires 50 very rare Diessa Chalices that sell anywhere from 1k to 5k each from other players.

Nothings impossible :-) You can easily fufill the faction req if you finish the game and hand in your hero handbook. It should take a few hours, but i believe it can be done. You will get 28,000 faction i believe and then some from taking the bounties. After that you should fufill the req, so buy some diessa chalices and you will be set!

You have to finish game in 5 hours to get armor, Dante. I think it's VERY, VERY hard. It was possible few weeks ago (before they fixed the exploit), but you wouldn't get the handbook completed. It's almost impossible to do it now.

So what should us trialers do in the 5 hours to get the most out of it? Any suggestions?

I got one very good suggestion ... buy GW:EN ... There's very little to do in 5 hours of playing, if you haven't accessed eye of the north before ... just play and advance these first 5 hours, and if you liked what you have seen, buy the game ...

I think you can complete the game in under 5 hours. Just make sure you get a Hero's Handbook before doing any primary missions. Once completed, you can turn it in and the 20k rep points will bump you up to or close to R5. Then, you can buy armor. I'm sure it can be done, but you better use guides to do the quests/missions efficiently.

In the time your given you could take Gwen out to a fancy seafood dinner, and never call her again!

But seriously, it wouldn't be worth your effort to try and complete R5 in anything to get armor, your just going to fall short most likely.
Just buy gwen, if you like guildwars story its worth buying just to finish out the story. And there are some awesome farms in gwen that arnt matched anywhere but ToA UW.

Gwen is a saint! You hear me?! Gwen is a saint!

You could probably get the collector armor pieces if you buy them beforehand.

And then focus on getting r5 for one of the reps for armor.

It might be good to find out whether or not you can use the blindfold after the trial. I know you can "keep" it, but is it locked out until you get a retail key? (In which case, it would be somewhat of a waste of time to spend the 5 hourse just getting the blindfold)

In 5 hours my friend did all the Norn storyline and some side quests. I did the Norn storyline in about 2 and 1/2 during the sneak peak weekend so you might get two storylines done if your fast.

Stuff you can do in the 5 hours that you can take back with you:

Cap GW:EN pets
Buy the tokens for and get the Norn Fighting Tournament Crown
Fight in the Norn Tournament to get Zho's book for the Black Moa Mini

Nevermind, turns out Dwarven armor is crafted at the Central Transfer Chamber.

u should be able to get the blindfold in 5 hrs, u just need to beat warband of brothers(charr storyline) to get access to cathedral of flames. Once in cathedral of flames the collector that trades for the blindfold is right at the start.

U'll need to fork out alot of gold for the diessa chalices tho, they're ranging in 1-5k as stated above and u need 50 of them.

You should also know the blindfold has significant clipping issues with certain hair styles and thus u could end up regretting it badly if it happens to clip through a portion of ur hair.

I kept my Crown for the EotN Preview Event. Don't know if it is any different.
Just gotta get the 50 Diessa Chalices before your time runs out.
And finish Warband of Brothers.

They can't as they are under level 20 as far as the armour is concerned that armour you got in Boreas Station about the only set you will have time to get.I beat it with 3 others taking my time with my Ele and they aren't at R4 yet none.I still have to finesh off my SS and LB points as well all in time.

I think you can easily beat GW:EN in 5hours. Finding the disea chalices is another story. I doubt you could buy 50 of them in 5hours.

you could buy them at forums or in lions arch.

I don't think there is a good chance to get enough faction in 5h to buy armor excep collector armor (icy hands and stuff)
