1) Well, for all the sceptics out there who didn't buy GW:EN like me... what are you doing with your five hour trial? Are you trying to unlock stuff, checking out quests? Dungeons? Looking at Scenery? Focusing on the Norn? The Asura? The Vangaurd?
2) And... did it convince you to buy the game (the point of the promotion in the first place)?
My Answers
Question 1) To me, its about efficiency. I'm pretty sure skills and heros will be relocked like they were before. Items I can always obtain through trade. So... one of the first things I did was the Norn Tournament to get Zho's book. Now, I can get the Mini Black Moa Chick without even needing to buy GW:EN (the only other thing I need from GW:EN is a honeycomb, with this weeks' event that will be an easy buy).
Not sure what to do next with the remaining 3 hours (dang my really slow load times).
Question 2) So far, not really. I'm on the fence. At first I thought the voice overs on all the NPCs when you talk to them would be pretty cool. But it just sounds so bleh. Everybody sounds so gruff and manly... your a freakin merchant just buy this stick. The sound bytes just remind me of Baldur's Gate NPC dialogue.
What are you doing with your 5 hour trial?

| After the preview, players will retain all items they found during their time in Eye of the North, along with any progress they made toward title tracks, and will receive credit for all completed quests. GW:EN Heroes and skills, however, will no longer be accessible until a Guild Wars: Eye of the North retail access key is added to the account. |

1. For the 5 hour trial, I followed the Vangaurd story. Spending time looking at scenery as I went through the quests/missions, I managed to get Gwen's Flute 1 minute before my trial ended....Phew! Finally got rid of that Tapestry Shred I've been holding on to since I started playing GW.
2. I found the story line (what I went through) and scenery really good, I liked them more than Factions and NF. However, the trial hasn't convinced me to go out and buy EotN straight away. I will buy it one day, but not just yet - there are still many things in the first 3 campaigns to keep me busy for a long while.
