lol, what an awesome skill.

Course, it's 100% unbalenced, and totally way out of line... But damn son, that would be bloody awesome. I would enjoy knowing the mechanics of what that skill would entail. Would you become totally void of attention? (AKA, aggro no longer applies to you for X time.)

As a PvE skill, it really doesn't need balance. Tie it to Illusion. If you move, you lose disappear. It is roughly the equivalent to Gwen's Feign Death or Hide in the BMP. I think it would be fun.

If the skill were a PvE-only skill, how would screw over the game? If the skill required that the player not move, how would this screw over the game? Would it be better if it were indirectly linked to Fast Casting (With Fasting Casting 4 or less, this spell has a 50% chance to fail)?

As someone already stated above, anyone could run anywhere at any lvl, would be hard below lvl 5-ish sure, but still doable. There is no need for a skill like this, it wasn't kept in at release for good reason. I'ts not the only one either, there were a lot of great skills they had to take out, cuz they would have screwed up the balance of the game.

On a side note, look at the skill "Spontaneous Combustion" that was taken out, I believe it was meant to be a end boss (mob only) type skill, but still wtf?

There's a reason why they removed that skill from the game. It's either going to be insanely game breaking (allow for easy farming of any boss/mob or running) or completely useless (if you make it end when you move/attack/cast).

I would prefer a PvE skill like "Hide" and/or "Feign Death," the skills Gwen use in the BMP. Could be cool and at least more creative than the PvE skills we have currently.

Personally I'd like to see Lightning Storm make a reappearance (pun only slightly intended), properly balanced of course. It's never seemed right that Fire Storm doesn't have an appropriate lightning-based AoE counterpart. Chain Lightning is alright, but who wouldn't like to cast giant bolts of electricity down upon their enemies?

That was an in town skill, the same type as the one mad kin thorm uses to kill people adjacent to him, on haloween.

If I recall correctly(knowing me thats a rather small chance)it had the fire storm animation.

where I see this, there are really soem under, which I would love to see implemented as update to the skills of EotN ...

Call of Brutality:

Change Duration from 30 to 20s, reduce armor Penetration to 5-25% and let the Pet deal the 1-12 more damage, when the enemy suffers on an condition.
Finally raise Energy Cost to 15. and reduce Recharge to 45s.
----------

Call of Disruption:
Remove the Armor penetration completely, raise the Chance of disrupting to max 10-33% and let this Skill knock down foes, when they move, raise also e cost to 15 and reduce duration/recharge by 10s.
---------------

Call of Elemental Protection:
First change that Name to :Call of Assimilation
Just take away the base damage reduction and reduce e cost to 5
---------------

Call of Feeding:
Just make that Skill an Elite Skill, reduce damage reduction to 1-10 and increase health gain by hit to 5-30
---------------

Call of Ferocity:
Echange thee 50% AP...to a max 5-25% for pet attacks to deal to the enemy "cracked armor"...rename skill then to Call of Ambush
---------------

Call of Healing:
A really nice Skill, id love to see ingame
Make it an Elite and reduce recharge to 30s

Call of Resilience:
Change it to this effect:
Removes 1-3 Conditions from your pet...for every condition removed by this way, you and your pet will be protected against the next 1-3 hexes towards you or your pet. Reduce recharge to 45s

change the effect to:
For the next 20 seconds, whenever your pet deals an critical hit, then you'll be healed for 5-30 hp, if your pet kills somebody meanwhile, then gets the healing doubled and you also rechieve 1-5 Energy reduce recharge to 45s

Call of Vitality:
remove the damage reduction and change it to a strength reduction of bleeding, poison. So when your pet will receive poison or bleeding, then these conditions will be 1-2 pips lesser strong, when this call is active, reduce max duration to 30s and reduce recharge to 25s max, reduce health bonus to max + 150 hp

Confusion:
on this skill imo doesn#t anything to be changed...mesmer is really missing this... also the Confusion Condition is imo really missing to game, like so much other conditions, like petrification, paralysis, frozen, silenced ect. pp.

rename this Skill to Illusion Trick and change skil effect to:
The mesmer will create for 10 seconds an illusion clone of his self, while you disappear. This Skil will deativate all your other skills for 10 seconds

Give this Skill an Adrenaline cost of 6, hex dration reduce by 15-33% and reduce range to "in your near"

High Winds:
Change skill to miss chance of 15-33%, when "not" enchanted, and give attacks additional 10-20% armor Penetration. Attacks will also cause cracked for 10 seconds, when the arrow hits a non moving target, that doesnt attack or use a spell. make this skil an elite. and change it into the survivor line

Give Air Eles also an AoE Skill >.> and ? is it then unthemated, doesn#t mean that it can't be balanced...

While standing in the lightning storm, every hit taken will let the foe suffer 1-3 seconds on blinding and if the foe was knocked down before, then instead will lightning storm deal to the foe cracked armor for 10s.
This Spell has 25% Armor penetration and causes Exhaustion.

To make lightning storm balanced it'd have to stick with air skills nature of that target and up to two adjacent targets.

Lightning Storm - 25, 3, 30
Spell. Create a Lightning Storm at target foe's location. For 2...6 seconds, one foe adjacent to that location and up to 1...2 foes adjacent to that foe are struck for 5...29...35 lightning damage each second. This spell has 25% armor penetration and causes exhaustion.

To be honest.. all of those pet skills are super over buffed. Do you realize what could then happen? Thumper groups would be back, but instead there'd be a ranger shouter with them, yes, those are shouts and skills, THEY stack. That'd be one indomitable force.

@Shadow: that was only a 1st concept...meteor Shower is still much stronger
max damage of Meteor Shower goes above 100 damage per meteor and meteor knocks down enemies...lightning storm only blinds them then and only when it hits knocked down foes it gives the cracked armor effect instead

Skill Cost, cast time, and recharge are similar to meteor shower...with the 25% AP of typical lightning spells, LS will have similar power like meteor storm...
I made in the end only a lightniung based meteor shower skill, with the only difference, that it doesn't knock down foes....it will blind or crack armor

So...with an AoE KD, this both does more damage than MS (cracked armor making each pulse hit for more), blinds, AND is in an att that has relatively crappy AoE. Also, you said it hits "every second" instead of "every 3 seconds".
