I bought GW Proph last month and after playing for most of a week, I went right out and bought all the rest.

I have uninstalled all of the other games I had been playing and now GW is the only game I play. Every aspect that can make or break a game is well represented here.

I see a lot of spare time going down the drain. Thank you very much Anet.
This thread has really begun to make me feel better, I had begun to think that whiners ruled our gaming community; I can’t believe this but am happy to be proven wrong.

Keep up the good job guys!

I'm thankful not solely to ANet, but to those that have supported it in this thread; you make the game a joy to play!

I respect the Anet team for their right attitude toward game making. Something I've never seen/experienced before. They aim to be individual and try out new things instead of sticking to old worn out formulas. They are willing to take these risks. They have customer service and a comm rep around that actually reply to you. I'm used to not getting replied to at all. Even just the fact that they actually have a real comm rep around ...Ima faint now,. I'm the kind of a person who will quit playing a game for a principle, like if the dev team didn't give a damn about the players etc. and I have done so before.

I also think the art team simply kicks butt.

At one point, long ago, they made a game that was amazing. I love Anet for what the did. It was a fantastic thing that they created. GG for GW!

I don't love ANet at all.
I don't actually even like them.
Nor do I dislike them.

They're the subsidiary of a larger company. Which so happened to make Guild Wars. Which so happened to get me off of mindlessly playing starcraft and hitman.

I have no feelings about ANet in the objective, and really, neither should anyone else, seeing as we're consumers.

On Topic:

Thanks for making the game I guess, and giving me a distraction

Meh actually I think they're doing ok now.

As for GW, I love every chapter, and after the dust of some bad updates has settled, I still really enjoy the game.

My only gripe would have to be inactivity in PvP and PUGs for, but thats it.

EDIT-

In response to a number of the posters here:

A huge percentage of your complaints with Guild Wars are probably from whiny, little, impatient spoiled brats. I felt bad a lot about GW till I learned to say "screw them" and ingnore them. Self-righteous complainers and the people they negatively affected really ruined Guild Wars (if it can really be called ruined) to tell the truth.

I just wanted to know if there were still non-spoiled and/or rational people out there.

You don’t have to necessarily “love” Guild Wars/Anet just agree with the way they are making the game. This [thread] was meant to be a positive thread to see/test/find out:

1. If there were still non-spoiled/self-righteous/whining/criticizing people out there.
2. To show people who read it that things have not changed as much as whiners/(see other adjectives above) claim, and that the game is not “dieing slowly and painfully” and/or deteriorating.
3. To talk about why we like/enjoy this game so much.
4. To thank Anet/Guild Wars team for such a fun game.
5. …and so on.

As you can now, hopefully, see this is not meant to be an “I love you Anet/Guild Wars” thread, although I have nothing against it being so . So feel free to post what makes you like this game so much, and any other positive post about the game and/or game related topics.

I love GW. For me, it was the perfect "ascension" from D2.

I like A-Net. I think they've handled this product well and I respect their no monthly fee philosophy.

I heart their no monthly fee philosophy - it's the only way a non-tenured professor making the cheapo cash, like me, can play this game .
