The Price Of Zaishen Keys 5k??

Does anyone here think that the price people are selling the keys for is way over the top, like the chest is good and all but isnt acauly as good as a HM locked chest because of the added chance of crappy consumables.

And sure people say it drops eternal blades but i have yet to believe that, if of course it does drop eternal blades and other ultra rares, then rare enough stay at 5k a key, but if not its just a scam lol.

Anything think it'll die down? considering all it takes is a few pvp rounds to get keys...

If they are too expensive, don't buy em. If enough people do that they will go down in price.
As a general rule everything that comes out new is overpriced and will then go down over time. It's not a question but more a fact of life, even in the real world (look at DVD prices over time for example).
If all it takes is a few rounds of PvP well then do that instead of buying em.

Its a seller's market. Some people don't PvP and so its expected that Zaishen would cost more than a traditional key. 5k is rather cheaper than I expected them to be.

People will pay outrageous prices for new thing, see the 1st req9 eternal blade illegedly selling for 100k+1500e+arms(was a fishy deal and doubt it sold for this though). I think the prices will fall in weeks to come.

its not just that ppl are selling for 5k per key

its not just the seller that decide the price, the buyer has a say too

becuase tonnes of people are buying them, they all want the keys fast, so people will pay more than others to make sure they get the keys, not the other guy ..

so one person is wtb zaishen key 4.5k ..

and the other keys is like, well i want keys to ..il buy at 5k .. and so on..

people selling the keys know they can get higher for them aswell, so they will try and get as much as they can for them

I'd just sell keys for 3k.

If you start selling lower than others, everyone else has to lower their price to compete with you.

And thats how you kill high end.

your just kill your profits and everyone will buy them all of you until you run out and carry on buying from other people for ~5k.

they'd just think they got lucky.

Im thinking prices go up after the "secret drop" Andrew Patrick mentioned drops for someone.

Acualy he does have a point, hell you can make someone drops thier prices just by faking a wts lol.

soo....when r u going to be on ;-)...i think they are generally in the 4k-5k range. Think about it Flames of Balthazar are 3k each, therefore these should be 5k each since it requires 5k faction. If you think thats not fair then try obtaining 5k faction for yourself. I think then you will agree with the pricing, if not more then that...

This is the case for pretty much everthing. It's new, everyone wants it. People will pay whatever they can to get the stuff. Look back at the Black Moa pets or the tokens for the Crown in Eye of the North.

When people realise the chance of getting something super awesome is incredibly rare, the price will drop.

i think the price will actually increase once someone gets a drop that has never dropped before..... factions is not as easy to farm as money is...therefore there value will be higher....alot of people can't compete in PVP with a darn and will get discouraged and quit instead of getting better...so the price will remain above 5k imo
