Hi! I am an old Guild Wars player seeking to come back and I have my friends joining me but I have 1 concern.

For example, If I want to be a mesmer, which is part of prophecies campaign, and my friend wants to be a ritualist, part of factions, and my other friend wants to be a paragon, part of nightfall, can we all choose to follow 1 campaign together so we aren't seperated in the world leveling up alone(presuming all 3 of us have all 3 games). Ya thats all =) thanks for any replies.

You could (as a mesmer) join one of your other friends at first by starting the same campaign.

However, you would not be able to create all three of those character types in the same campaign. The earliest time you would all be able to get together is after you all gain access to continental travel via a port city (LA, KC, or Kamidan).

It shouldn't take long... probably just a few hours. However, as a foreign character you won't be able to do all the same quests and missions as your friends.

Personally, I'd just try to convince everyone to start the same campaign at the same time, then you can all travel to the other continents together when you reach that point.

Fastest way to get together if you and your friends really want to stick to your character choices. Start a mesmer in factions or nightfall. From factions go to kaineng, take the sunspears in cantha quest from imperial guardsman Linro and join your friend in nf from there. It's faster to get to elona from cantha. Bottom line is that one of you will have to play alone while the other 2 can play together.
