The Starfish Focus items aren't big sellers. Since yours is a r13, I'd merchant it. Same goes for the r12 defender, however I'd salvage the +28 health mod and the inscription "Sheltered by Faith" off the shield. The +28 health can be given to a hero and the "Sheltered by Faith" inscription can be sold, though not for much.
