When Does Wintersday Start?

Wintersday 2006 began on December 20th.
Might be the same this year.

Man I don't know why either but I have begun looking forward to it as well.

I missed Halloween this year. Events are awesome, and I usually don't like stuff like this. Anet really does put on a good show for us all.

Hopefully I will get a damn Santa hat this year. I keep getting stuck with Antlers .

For now we have to wait for the current gwen event to end on the 16th, then they will probably start wintersday sometime the next week-----so the 20th sounds about right.

My guess if for the 21st of Dec as well but i'll guess we'll just have to wait and see now won't we?

Hmm, I might miss the whole event this year.

I bet they will announce it a week or 2 before, when they explain what's new.

I acquired Prophecies on December 25th, 2005. I had reached post in time for Wintersday, and LA in time for even more wintersday.

Since then I have been a massive fan of what is undoubtedly the greatest GW holiday of all.

I'm thinking December 22 or so.

Just thought I'd repeat that for all the speculators.

Theres nothing wrong with a little speculation. How else would we be able to be at least somewhat coherrant on these here boards .

Speculation is harmless in this case too. Unless there are some weird griefers our there who believe that ANet is lying again and that Wintersday is supposed to happen ON christmas and not any other time. Damn Griefers.

I'm guessing the same because that's the date (on or before) they're going to announce the winners of the Wintersday Contest.
