Most Profitable Warrior Farm

I'm trying to get norn armor for my main character, which is a warrior. I've farmed stone elements in HM, and hydras outside augury rock, yet both of them seem kind of slow making cash. Occassionally you get lucky with elements, and get a ruby, and a bunch of tomes, yet at other times you get next to nothing. Hydras occassionally give a good run by dropping cash, but that was also kind of slow. What's the most profitable farm for a warrior to make money from?

I don't know the cash rate from the fams you listed, but you can get 10k/hour by HM wurms in EotN, or repeatedly doing Kilroy runs, wither HM or NM.

Probably VWK smite farming in the underworld. Painfully boring, but easy and effective.

If you're fast, the Glint's Challenge Destroyer Core Farm is nice.

Smite run takes about 15 mins with W/Rt. Pretty boring, but put some music on and just do 2-3 at a time and you should be able to maintain sanity.

Yea, highly consider smite runs using w/rt or w/me build. On average, 1 ecto per run.

HM Minotaurs outside Ice Tooth Cave can yield results if you can do it quickly enough. There are about 100 mino's out there for the slaying.

I'd go either W/Rt Smite Farm or W/Rt Raptor Farm. Elementals in Ascalon are ok too.

Hard Mode Stone Elementals are definitely the way to go. I do this 3 runs every day, guaranteed to make between 5-10k.

Something i've noticed with farming is that the first run you do will be very dry, but the 2nd and 3rd runs you will get lockpicks, golds, purples, tomes, dyes etc.

The good thing about stone eles is that you will get alot of granite slabs, which are pretty valuable atm, even in the first run.

Yeah I'd say UW over anything else, even though it gets pretty boring. Some runs you may not get an ecto and think "I wasted my time" but other times, like I did yesterday, you might get *4* ectos in one run, thats about 20k worth for 15 mins work. And with VwK its almost like sleeping.

I farm the Hulking Stone Elementals outside of Ascalon City in HM. Per run, after selling the obvious merch trash, I get around 1k in less than 15 minutes, plus Granite Slabs (usually around 30 per run), Scorched Lodestones (around 10 per run, which adds another 10 Slabs when you salvage, or 30g if you sell), and anything else from Purples, Golds, Dyes, UW Scrolls, Warrior Tomes, and from Flint Touchstone and Cobble Poundstone the occasional Elite War/Ele Tome.
The earlier post was right, the first run is usually crap. Afterwards, you start getting decent stuff, but nothing extraordinary, unless you get great golds or Elite Tomes.
I'm not sure how the anti-farming coding in the game works, but if I start getting crap drops, I just zone out to another area, usually Augury, and farm Hydra.
If all else fails, I jump to ToA and advert as a Terror Tank and just take punishment for a bit for a UW clear run. After this is done, jump back to either Ascalon City or Sardelac and start on the Elementals again.

Patience is the key. Compared to other games out there, GW has a very very limited spectrum of items that one can acquire. Honestly. Think about it. How many other games have higher HP/Energy/Damage/variety of Crafting Mats/etc.? Many. If you are getting impatient, because you just HAVE to have that stuff, you might be pushing too hard to get something - so hard that you ignore the obvious.

If absolutely nothing else is there for you to do in the game, you might be getting burned out. I'll admit, my main toon is a Warrior, and it really, really gets to me that it seems like this class has been hit with the Nerfstick (or rather, a full league of baseball players armed with Nerfsticks just ran a train on the Warriors) so many times that it is simply out-gunned and out-classed by all the other profs. Whether this is the Nerfstick pwning my Warrior, or acting as a magic wand to introduce new spawns/mobs to an area (Drok's runs, how I miss you... and my Mino's and Griff's in the Desert as well... and yes TROLLS) that completely FUBAR a solo Warrior's chance, it doesn't matter.

Just go out, and beat on something. Take out your frustration in every zone you can find. Who knows, you mind find a farming spot that isn't used much, or hasn't been used in a while, and it might turn profitable for you!

Tanking is bad.

Guild Wars puts less emphasis on the items so that good players > bad players, unlike in WoW where skill is relatively unimportant.

You know, we don't have to farm. You can get optimal equipment for regular questing and stuff easily (especially in factions, where it's basically free cash and XP). And if you think Warriors are underpowered in PvE, then you obviously haven't played Godmode.

Personally I take a differnent aproach to farming. I like to solo outside of Kamadan Hard Mode, clear the map in about 30-45min and get some nice drops. Most times I'll net 2-3 golds and 6+ purples, mostly merchant crap but some have nice mods or ok skins.

Ok thx, looking again at Marty's post, I took what he said out of context, thinking it was a solo reference. My Warrior uses a build very similar to that. Loving it!

*what's the second skill on that bar Stormlord? I assume it's another sword attack. I have the rest on my bar, except I put in a sunspear rez signet for PVE play.

Brawling Headbutt
Even without FGJ!, you can keep up "SY!" permanently with DSlash -> Headbutt -> Steelfang -> DSlash ad infinitum. With Stonefist insignia, it's also a perma knock-lock.
